Description
The ultra-slim 16.7” design occupies a single vehicle seat and fits three across.
The seat spans three modes: rear-facing (5-40 lbs), forward-facing (26.5-65 lbs) and booster (40-100 lbs) for years of use.
Twelve headrest positions maximize height, while the flex-forward buckle and low-profile sides make getting in and out easier.
The ergonomically contoured seat helps keep children comfortably supported, and removable inserts provide a perfect fit starting at 5 lbs.
The car seat features ClearTex flame-retardant-free materials and it’s GREENGUARD Gold Certified for low chemical emissions.
The lightweight design combines a steel-reinforced frame for strength with effortless installation and everyday handling.
Two installation options include Mini-Grip LATCH connectors and LockSure steel-reinforced belt lock-offs for a secure vehicle belt installation. Two RideRight bubble level-indicators and a 6-position ReclineSure leveling system help ensure proper positioning.
Two flexible cup holders conveniently fold to maintain the ultra-slim profile and are dishwasher safe for easy cleanup.
Fit3x is engineered to meet the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard FMVSS 213a – Side Impact and features Advanced Side Impact Protection (ASIP).

Good but could be better
I bought this car seat specifically to be able to put our 13 month old in it for a flight and use while traveling (also my in laws will be using). I have the Chicco Fit360 as her daily car seat in my car and I much prefer that car seat to this one. While the seat is nice and compact and the materials are really nice feeling there are 2 things in particular I didn’t like as much as the Fit360 which are the chest clip and the harness buckle. Fits 2013 chevy volt!!!
I purchased this particular carseat because I drive a 2013 chevrolet volt. This is the version with only 2 backseats and a hard console (covering the battery cells) in between them. The vehicle itself is quite compact, so I was really anxious about finding & then choosing a good, quality carseat for my granddaughter because of how the backseat is designed. Our first "big boy" car seat
This car seat is super easy to install and adjust. I love the padding it provides for a cozy sleeping place and the recline options. The color is beautiful. I do wish there was a feature to hold the buckles in place while getting the child into the seat. We'e traveled with this seat a few times and pretty easy, besides the weight...not the lightest item to carry around.

The BEST Car Seat
Our family just grew and we don’t want a mini van, which meant we needed to be able to fit three car seats across the backseat of our Santa Fe. After a lot of research on safety, we decided to order three Chicco Fit3x ClearTex Ultra-Slim All-in-One Car Seats. The installation went much smoother than any of the other car seats we have had. Space savers, comfortable & love the color!
We’ve had this car seat for a couple weeks now and we are loving it! I bought 2 for my 2 year old twins. They were so easy to install in the car, very good set up instructions. The car seat feels safe & secure I like that it is a little on the heavy side. It also has a lot of cushion and seems very comfortable for my toddlers! We put them side by side in our minivan and the fit! Just as advertised. Love how much space they save! Even bought a 3 one in black for my 4 year old riding in the third row to save space back there as well. Nothing but good things to say about these seats so far!

Awesome and Safe
We love the car seat and so does our child. She’s so excited that she can finally face forward. She is so excited to get into the car seat and go for drives. It was very easy for her dad to install the car seat. I’m so happy with this purchase and she can grow with the car seat. I think it’s nice this color was offered besides black.

Great seat
Love the seat, great quality but I wish the buckles that the seat belt goes through on the 5 point harness for the legs was thinner because the belt keeps getting all turned around.
