Description
This Graco car seat gives you ten years with one car seat.
It transitions from a rear-facing infant car seat (4–50 lbs) to a forward-facing 5-point harness seat (26.5–65 lbs) to a highback belt-positioning booster (40–100 lbs) to a backless belt-positioning booster (40–120 lbs).
With the addition of the four-position extension panel, 4Ever Extend2Fit provides 5” of extra legroom allowing kiddos to ride safely rear-facing longer. Removable, plush infant head and body inserts offer comfort and support for little riders.
For a proper fit, the Simply Safe Adjust Harness System and ten-position headrest let you adjust the harness and headrest together, with no rethreading.
The six-position recline keeps little ones comfortable, while the InRight LATCH system with one-second attachment makes installation easy.

Do I need to buy a separate base for this car seat ?
Best Answer: Nope! The base is integrated into the design (only infant car seats have a separate, removable base).
What stroller is compatible with this car seat?
Best Answer: This is a convertible car seat, so it's not designed to attach to a stroller (convertible car seats are larger/heavier). However, Graco infant car seats can attach to compatible strollers.

Great for small toddlers (25lbs less)

I am currently on the market for a new car seat. We have had this one for my now 4 year old since she was two, but we cannot continue to use it because the buckle is digging into her thighs. It’s so hard to get her buckled in with how short it is. We thought this would last her the life of the car seat but it has become such an inconvenience. Especially when we are trying to buckle her quickly in cold weather. My daughter weighs 30lbs I don’t think this should be happening

Comfortable seat

My child is very comfortable in this seat and truly enjoys the ride. I particularly appreciate the high-quality fabric; the material feels significantly softer and more premium than the 4Ever® DLX Slim 4-in-1. However, the installation process is more challenging compared to the Slim model. I also find myself missing the integrated harness storage that the Slim provides. While this is an excellent choice overall, it would be perfect if it offered a simpler installation and a dedicated spot to tuck away the harness.

Not very pleased

I bought a more expensive car seat thinking it meant higher quality but this has a few concerns. The snap between the legs sticks out and dogs into my daughter’s thighs, I cannot imagine what it would do in an accident. The cupholders will not stay in place.

We have had many children over the last 16 years (5 of them) and when using other brands, we have always switched back to Graco. They are roomy, soft, comfortable, and just look very nice compared to all the other brands. We will always love our graco car seats and the 4ever DXL will always be my favorite! It lasts for years to come and the price is unmatched!

Newborn to toddler car seat

Very easy to install. Long term use for children.
Product has a recline option which think my newborn enjoys. I like the idea of being able fo sit the baby up like she’s a big girl at times.

Bought this for my son who is now 4. We love this seat! I was able to have him rear facing as long as possible and we used this seat for a 10 hour car ride and he was so comfortable! And all the safety features you can’t beat it! Definitely worth the money.

May not live up to the 4ever moniker - design flaw
We brought our newborn home in this car seat in 2018 and she will soon be 5. The prospect of having one seat that can grow with the child justified the purchase, but like another reviewer pointed out, the crotch strap is a pain and I'm not sure how much longer this seat will work. Our daughter has to pull her legs up and out so as to help with the buckling in process and to avoid getting pinched. She weighs 33 lbs and has an inseam of 18 inches. It would we great if this could be replaced with a…
