First Wash is a tear-free hair and body wash, for first baths through toddlerhood.
Gentle on eyes and sensitive, eczema-prone skin, it cleanses head to toe with a silky lather that leaves skin feeling soft, not stripped.
First Wash is dermatologist tested, hypoallergenic, microbiome friendly, pH balanced and fragrance free.
First Wash is also sold in the Skin Essentials Set, a giftable, top-to-bottom skincare routine.

Skin issue
Initially loved this product. It felt good when I put it on my toddler. Almost half way through the bottle, my toddler started having small rashes and dry spots. Then more and more rashes came out. Dr confirmed he has atopic dermatitis which he never had. I changed both his body wash/shampoo and cream to Coterie and the skin problem started after using it about 1 month. I also noticed my eczema on my hands will flare up when I give him bath with coterie shampoo and body wash. Given that we loved diapers, we wanted to like this, but unfortunately it didn’t work out.

This has been the best
This has been the best body wash. I've used with my son and he is three years old. It is a gentle enough for hair face and body. It is also gentle enough to help with his eczema.

Elevates our bedtime routine!
I love anything that helps bring a little joy to routines and this first wash soap does just that! I look forward to our bath routine- this soap is so delicious feeling and leaves my daughters’ skin silky smooth. I always get excited when coterie skincare comes with our diaper subscription!
