First Wash is a tear-free hair and body wash, for first baths through toddlerhood.
Gentle on eyes and sensitive, eczema-prone skin, it cleanses head to toe with a silky lather that leaves skin feeling soft, not stripped.
First Wash is dermatologist tested, hypoallergenic, microbiome friendly, pH balanced and fragrance free.

Love this soap!
It lathers nicely, I love that its unscented, soft on baby's skin, I use it as shampoo for my 2 year old daughter and it works great. Love the clean ingredients! My husband & I use it as well now!

Gentle & Amazing for Newborn Skin, But Better for Babies Than Toddlers
We’ve loved this product for our baby! We started using it when he was about 2 weeks old and have used it in his daily baths ever since. It’s been amazing for newborn skin — especially little baby acne flare-ups. If a blemish pops up, it’s usually noticeably better or completely gone by the next day. We pair it with the matching lotion after bath time and love the combination.

I've started using it myself
My baby (and I) love First Wash. It's so gentle and feels soft and not drying. I've tarted using it myself and I prefer it over my own products.

Great product, cannot recommend enough!
My son has sensitive skin and was getting eczema flare ups all over his body. Within a week of switching to the Coterie bath soap and lotion (and stopping other soaps / lotions), his eczema has gone away and rarely comes back. It's incredible. This product is well worth the price.

Skin issue
Initially loved this product. It felt good when I put it on my toddler. Almost half way through the bottle, my toddler started having small rashes and dry spots. Then more and more rashes came out. Dr confirmed he has atopic dermatitis which he never had. I changed both his body wash/shampoo and cream to Coterie and the skin problem started after using it about 1 month. I also noticed my eczema on my hands will flare up when I give him bath with coterie shampoo and body wash. Given that we loved diapers, we wanted to like this, but unfortunately it didn’t work out.

This is all we ever use. Suds up very well and does not burn eyes as much as J&J.
