It also is equipped with an automatic shut-off safety feature that turns the unit off when the water runs out.Crane recommends using filtered or distilled water to avoid white dust if tap water is too hard (don't use hot water).

Works well despite being hard to clean mildew
I’ve had this for less than 2 months and clean it twice a week (for newborn). While it works well and has nice features, the tank seams are not sealed around the bottom back rim well and has pink mold/bacteria going in it. I’ve tried everything to get it out and nothing is able to get to it. I wish there was a solution to this problem. However, it looks like I need to buy a completely new humidifier for my baby.

Stopped working after one year
Junk. Never buying this brand again. Did all the troubleshooting. I suspect I need a new power cord. Nope. Not paying $12.99 replacement part.

Poorly designed humidifer
Bought this because of the rave reviews, but this product is incredibly frustrating to use due to its poor design. The water tank is designed in such a way that there's no way to lift it up and refill it without making a complete mess. You pretty much have to unplug the device and bring it to a tub or sink each time. Also, this humidifier grows a ton of mold, which I know is common for these things given the moisture, but the bad design makes it very tough to clean. We switched to another humidifier after two months of use.

We bought 4 of the black and blue version. They all suck 2 don't stay on and 2 leak . What a waist of many. I will stay away from this brand for sure. Only used for a couple of months. Got tired of dealing with water everywhere. And 2 machines not working at all

Loose seam led to pink mildew
After one season and meticulous cleaning, the basin developed pink mildew I cannot get out despite multiple attempts and re-cleaning. There seems to be a gap between the seams that created a space for mildew growth that cannot be cleaned. Please send a replacement basin. The motor also got louder after a few weeks, but the mildew bothers me more.

Light and sounds no longer work
We bought this last month and after 2 weeks the light and sound function stopped working. The most works great but would have liked to enjoy the lights and sounds for more than 2 weeks

Beautiful and Functional!
This is the best humidifier I have ever had, it is great that it fills from the top. I love the grey color, and how it makes the colored lights look slightly subdued.

Trash
I have had this humidifier for less than 6 months and it started leaking. Company was no help. They told me that I could buy a new one and get 30% off. It’s trash - don’t waste your money.

One Gallon 4-in-1 Top Fill Cool Mist Humidifier
Very thoughtful design that makes it very easy to fill the water tank and nice looking also. Silent operation unless you activate the sound machine for a relaxing sleep along with the light that changes color. I am very pleased with this machine.
