Best Answer: The thin pad is the 1" waterproof mattress pad included with the Jenny Lind Mini Crib, but it isn’t specifically for the newborn phase. DaVinci recommends using a standard 24" x 38" mini crib mattress for the best fit and a safe sleep surface from newborn onward. If you purchase a separate mini crib mattress, you would use that instead of stacking it with the included pad.
Best Answer: No—you do not have to install the wheels. The casters are optional, so you can leave them off if you'd prefer the crib to stay in one place. If you do install them, two of the four wheels have locking brakes to help keep the crib stationary during use.
