The Penelope has scalloped, wave-detailed molding and a satin glaze finish over sustainable pine.
Three mattress positions lower as baby learns to sit, pull up and stand, then the crib converts to a toddler bed, daybed, sofa or full-size bed, with or without a footboard. The daybed/sofa rail is included; the toddler guardrail and full-size wood rails are sold separately.
It pairs with any matching Delta Children dresser in the same finish.

Is there a conversion kit included for all versions except the standard bed frame? Details are a bit unclear on this part?
Best Answer: All color versions of the Delta Children Penelope 6-in-1 Convertible Crib include the hardware needed for the crib, daybed, and sofa conversions. The only conversion piece that's included is the daybed/sofa rail.
For the other conversions, you'll need to purchase additional parts:
Toddler bed: Toddler Guardrail #W100725 (sold separately)
Full-size bed (with or without footboard): Full Size Wood Bed Rails #0050 (sold separately), or you can use a standard metal bed frame if you're using the crib as a headboard only.
Can you remove the legs on this crib?

Building is stressful!
The crib itself once built looks great! But the building process was so stressful. Within the first step we realized some of the pieces were misaligned. Then some of the holes weren’t drilled all the way through. It ended up taking both myself and my husband 6 hours to complete the crib. At the end of the day it ended up working, but it was a stressful process from start to finish. I would recommend a company that has clearer instructions and better reviews for assembly.

Such a Beautiful Crib!
The Penelope 6 in 1 convertible crib is stunning. The color gives a high end feel without you having to pay a super high end price. The wood material is of great quality and assembly was very easy!

Pieces Don’t Fit
We are unable to build the crib the pieces are not aligned. We have spend hours trying to make the holes fit but no luck.

Missing assembly holes
Missing holes for wooden dowels in part K. Other holes did not seem to be drilled very well but I think they will work. Reached out to Delta Children and hopefully they can send a replacement part asap. Very frustrating.

Stunning crib
This crib is absolutely gorgeous! I love that it will grow with our baby for a very long time. It’s hard finding affordable Green-guard gold certified cribs that are still high quality, but this one is exactly that!

Stunning high quality crib that will grow with my child for years!
This crib is a no brainer! Amazing quality for the price, it is solid and sturdy and the teak brown color is even better in person than the photos! I love that this is very gender neutral if you are waiting to find out the gender of your baby and that it will grow with them for a long time!

Amazing quality + stunning color

Expensive Quality, Beautiful Wood Crib
