How is this different than the diaper genie platinum?

Jennifer BAug 24, 2026

Best Answer: The main difference is construction and odor control: the Signature has a plastic body, while the Platinum is stainless steel and adds a built-in carbon filter. Both are hands-free, hold up to 47 newborn diapers, and use the same Easy Roll refills. The 48-bag Signature Gift Set includes two Easy Roll refills.

Customers review summary

The Diaper Genie is valued for keeping nursery spaces smelling fresh and for its slim profile that saves space beside changing stations. Its sealed lid, straightforward refill design and one handed operation lock away odors, hold a generous number of diapers and make late night changes quicker. A few customers note occasional issues with the lid or pedal, yet most customers say it reliably contains smells and streamlines diaper disposal.
