Made of durable stainless steel, the 27” Diaper Genie Platinum pail features odor-locking clamps that help prevent odors of messy diapers from escaping.
It has a wide opening and foot pedal for a true hands-free operation. The diaper disposal system holds up to 47 newborn diapers and includes two long-lasting refills that can hold up to 2,256 newborn diapers.
The Easy Roll refill bags are made from durable multi-layer film with odor-locking barrier technology. The refills include 18 and 30 easy tear-off bags that are perforated for convenient use and disposal.
This set also includes five carbon filters to keep your nursery smelling fresh.

We’ve been using this pail for 3 months now and I can’t say I’m impressed. It is SO stinky, even though I replace order eliminator every month. Was really expecting a higher quality item.

Not worth it, broke soon after purchase
Broke within 5 months. The concept is good, but here are the major flaws that make this $80 trash can totally not worth it;
- the pedal detaches, which is intentional for shipping I’m assuming? But it came off almost every time I used it…so like 8-10 times a day. It got very annoying
- the pedal is eventually what permanently broke. If you look under the genie, this model has very thin plastic supports holding the pedal up, and they eventually snapped. After 5 months of inconsistent…

Defective Expensive Junk
Do not buy this piece of junk!!! The foot pedal immediately started falling out as soon as we brought it home and after less than one year of use, the foot pedal completely broke rendering the entire unit garbage.

Do not buy this piece of junk!
The foot pedal immediately started falling out as soon as we got it home. This requires that you get down on the floor to replace the pedal which is impossible while you have a baby on the changing table. After less than a year, the foot pedal completely broke and rendered the pail completely useless junk. The warranty of course requires you to fill out a million different things to be able to get a refund. Do not buy this piece of expensive junk!!! It was not well tested and you are stuck with $20 custom diaper roll refills forever.
