Can this get wet?
Best Answer: The massage brush in the Ella Ola 3-Piece Bamboo Brush & Comb Set is specifically designed to be used on wet or dry hair. The bamboo comb can also get wet during normal use. However, because the set is made from natural bamboo and includes a goat hair brush, it's best not to soak the pieces in water or leave them wet for extended periods.

Nice brush set

Great quality and a beautiful brush set

The bristles are gentle enough for my newborn and strong enough to brush through thick long hair. I bought a set for each of my children, and I occasionally take the brushes for myself when traveling. We all have thick unruly hair and this brush set works great getting all the tangles out, styling, and brushing out my newborn's cradle cap. Also, the beautiful box and bamboo comb/brush set makes a wonderful gift!

Not as you’d expect but not all bad…
The wooden comb had some residue on it, clear and brown. Maybe dried glue? I am nit sure but unsettling to see crud in between the teeth of a comb for a newborn. I tried to scrap it off but some of it wouldn’t budge. The brush is very soft and clean with just a little shedding noted and no issues noted on the massage brush.

Shedding Bristles
Bristles come off of the bamboo brush extremely easily. There’s at least a handful of bristle strands stuck to my baby’s face, hair, and clothes after trying to use (extremely gently). Will return if I can - seems unsafe to have rogue bristles near a newborn’s mouth and eyes etc.

This brush is terrible. It sheds so bad, every time I brush my baby’s hair it leaves bristles everywhere. Don’t recommend.

Love it
Not only is this set beautifully packaged and perfect for a gift but it is high quality and functional. I absolutely love brushing my baby’s hair with the softest goat bristles and I am sure I will use the other brush and comb as his hair grows and fills in. Perfect set.
