Is the portable bouncer piece removable?
Best Answer: Yes. The Graco DuetConnect LX’s swing seat is removable and doubles as a portable bouncer. Graco says you release the triggers near the handles on both sides, then lift the seat off the swing.
Where do the batteries go?
Best Answer: The Graco DuetConnect LX Swing & Bouncer has two battery compartments:
For the swing: The battery compartment is located on the swing's control housing/base. Remove the battery cover and insert the required D-cell batteries if you want to use the swing without plugging it into the wall.
For the bouncer vibration: There's a separate battery compartment underneath the removable bouncer seat. Remove the battery cover (using a coin or key) and insert one D-cell battery to power the vibration feature.
Does it plug into the wall? ?
Best Answer: You can! This swing has an option to plug in or use batteries for added flexibility.
Does it swing back and forth or front to back?
Best Answer: This swings from left to right.

Made well. My baby loves to swing and goes multiple directions. The mobile is nice for babies to look at and keep them occupied. Nice to have as a bouncer too. Little heavy

Great Swing
My baby loves his swing. The songs are cute and the rocking motion works well. He feel secure in it so I don’t have to worry when I have to run out of the room for a minute.
The mobile leaves much to be desired because it’s kinda boring and doesn’t really draw his attention. I have found a way to attach a separate one to it that helps.

Simple and Effective
This swing is my son’s favorite thing. We honestly haven’t used the bouncer much because we were gifted a different bouncer / chair, so I can’t speak to that, but the swing has worked perfectly. It’s simple and doesn’t have a ton of “features” like some swings, but we haven’t really missed those. Very sturdy and not overly noisy.

it always put my nephew to sleep, made my job as a babysitter 10 times easier

whenever I was babysitting, I would just put the kids in this bouncer and it would put them right to sleep and it became their comfort item whenever they were crying excessively. I just knew that I could put the babies in there and they would be right to sleep it made my job so much easier as an aunt and as a babysitter.

Worst purchase ever. Broke within a month of using
I got this swing as a baby shower gift and my child is 4 months old at around 2 months of using it broke for the first time. Power wouldn’t work at all. Tried batteries and plugging it into the wall. Called and had a conversation with customer service they said they would send the replacement part. i was told i had to PAY for shipping to return the BROKEN. part. We replaced the part and it worked for an about a month. As of today 5/29/2026 the swing broke again and will not swing at the highest…

Love love love this swing bouncer combo. It’s comfortable and stable for my little one. It allows mobility while also having good ergonomics. It is versatile, allowing me to use the swing in one room and bring the bouncer into another.

I really liked it because it is comfortable and practical. The materials feel resistant and soft for the baby. The seat can be separated and is easy to assemble. It has beautiful sounds. And space for the baby to be well. It is definitely a good option for parents looking for comfort and functionality

A good two in one to save space!
This review was collected as part of a promotion
With a new little one it was great to have somewhere safe to set them down so I could do mom life hands free for a moment. I love the double function of swing and bouncer. the bouncer mode was our little ones favorite and the vibration mode was a lifesaver for fussy moments. I didn’t love the swing mode as much because the different swing modes weren’t all the different from each other. Cleaning some parts of it were easier than others like the cover but the straps are difficult to get clean and reinstall. Overall the versatility is great idea and space saver, just used it more as a bouncer.

2 in 1!
This review was collected as part of a promotion
We absolutely adore the Graco DuetConnect swing and bouncer. We bought this for the grandparents house due to the 2 in 1 capabilities. The 2 in 1 capabilities of being a swing and a bouncer definitely give this product a good value for the money. It is easy to assemble, adjust, and maintenance is minimal. It swings and vibrates well with minimal noise. The only downside is that it is not very portable due to its size, however, we didn't really need it to be as it was staying in one location. This was great for months 0-5 months for my babies. Definitley would recommend!
