Description
The Joie bay latch SI is a 3-in-1 harnessed car seat with nine-position built-in rigid LATCH that adapts from toddler through pre-teen, providing secure installation at every stage.
It installs using LATCH, vehicle seat belt and top tether, or a combination of both. The GrowTogether no-rethread headrest and harness move together as the child grows, with a 15-position headrest and four-position adjustable seat depth. Guard Surround Safety and side-impact protection bolsters up to 40 pounds.
Two dishwasher-safe cup holders (top rack only) and an AutoClick magnetic chest clip round out the convenience features. Removable, machine-washable fabrics.

Easy to get kid in and out!

We installed this last week for our 2.5 year old and have been loving it. We struggled to get him in and out of his prior convertible seat, but have found this new seat so much easier. The fabric is super soft and I love that there’s an additional insert for <40 lbs. The rigid latch is a game-changer, as we didn’t have to wrench any slack out of the latch. He’s comfy and we’re happy!

We’ve been really happy with this car seat. It’s sturdy, comfortable, and feels very well made. I love that the headrest and harness adjust together, so there’s no need to rethread the straps as my child grows. The magnetic chest clip is a surprisingly helpful feature—it makes buckling much easier, especially when you’re in a hurry.

This product is of very nice quality and very sleek and comfortable! The chest magnetic latch is easy to undo and the straps seem very comfy for my little one! There are directions on the seat itself to make sure you are utilizing properly and the adjustable locks lock directly into the seat easier than any other car seat I have seen. We received the Bay Latch a few weeks ago and have to say it is one of our favorite car seats we own. Our oldest is in the 3rd row and for once we feel like she is safe in her seat. It’s sturdy, well padded, easy to buckle in, comfortable and moves less than an inch without the lower tether anchors latched. We will be repurchasing for our second child who is about to transition into a convertible booster seat!! Another added bonus is that it is compliant with the new 2026 car seat standards!!! My 4 y/o loves her new car seat!! This seat is heavier than ones I have had in the past. The magnetic chest strap is such a unique feature but makes it so easy for her to buckle herself! I also love the way it latches into the car. I have never seen this type of latch system and it makes it way more secure than traditional seats. Which makes me feel like she is super secure!!
