Description
The 2nd Seat Kit allows you to expand your Mockingbird Single-to-Double Stroller (sold separately) into a double stroller.
The kit comes with a 2nd stroller seat, as well as a set of adapters to make room for two riders.
If you’re planning to stroll with one of your kids using the bassinet or car seat adapter, you’ll still need the adapters to convert to double mode, and then you can start using the 2nd stroller seat when your child develops head and neck control (typically around six months).
The seat in Mockingbird’s 2nd Seat Kit is identical to the seat included with the Single-to-Double Stroller. This means you can stroll in double mode with two kids up to 45 lbs, and you can choose to have your younger child closer to you.
It also means that the 2nd seat has all the features of the Stroller seat, including the FullShade system, which pairs the XL UPF 50+ canopy with the built-in LegShade for head-to-toe coverage sun coverage.
Other parent-favorite features include the magnetic buckle, height-adjustable canopy, reversible seasonal seat-liner, reflective piping for safer nighttime strolls and more in-seat storage.
Note: To stroll with twin infants, you’ll need the 2nd Seat Kit plus two Car Seat Adapters or two Infant Seat Inserts, as the Single-to-Double Stroller is not compatible with two Bassinets.

Didn't receive full order
I received the canopy part of the order - without a stroller seat or adaptor kit to go with it. Then, the live chat isn't live, or it "hangs up" on you and refers you to a form. I spent a lot of money for the stroller initially, and now for the second seat kit. I was very excited to receive it. I'm sure it's great if I actually get the complete thing. The experience is not a good one though because it looks like I have to wait for three days to get an answer for this issue and the option of getting a 15 minute phone call about it isn't available for three days either.

Dors not work for older model.
Does not fit older models of the stroller. Mocking bird 1.0.

I purchased this for my daughter who is expecting her 2nd child in April. It looks great and appears to fit well, but she hasn't used it yet, so I can't say much more.

Works Reall Well for two kids
The second seat is a great add for the Mockingbird 2.0. It allows for plenty of space and it easy to remove and install. It is obviously heavier with a second kid, but the stroller holds up well with two kids and maneuvers well.

The seat is very similar but the new buckles are a downgrade
The seat itself is quite similar and I love that the awning goes down further to protect from the sun. But the buckles... so terrible. Major downgrade from the previous model. The buckles are unnecessarily complex and don't stay buckled. Can easily bust them open without pressing the button which is a hazard. I haven't reached out to mockingbird yet but will be and will update said review accordingly.

Perfect for my daughter
Bought it for my daughter as she has a 2 1/2 year old and 2 month old. She loves it. Obviously she already had the carriage, it was very easy to install the second seat/ support for infant carrier/car seat. Also added the accessory pieces to carry drinks, keys, etc…
