Overview

Description

This bundle comes with the Mockingbird Bassinet and Mockingbird Bassinet Stand, usually sold separately.

The Mockingbird Bassinet makes your Mockingbird Single Stroller or Single-to-Double Stroller (both sold separately) infant-ready, and also attaches to the Bassinet Stand for an at-home nap and overnight sleep solution.

When paired together, the Bassinet and Bassinet Stand create a safe and secure setup for at-home naps and overnight sleep, at the ideal height for bedside use.

The stand has a compact fold for easy storage and a removable, machine washable basket for naptime essentials.

To stroll with the Bassinet, attach it to your Mockingbird Stroller and little ones will be comfortably supported until they grow into the stroller’s toddler seat.

The Bassinet was designed with baby’s comfort and safety in mind, featuring mesh panels on either end for cross-ventilation and a UPF 50+ canopy with a pop-out visor for additional shade and ventilation panel for airflow.

The Bassinet has a foam mattress pad with an OEKO-TEX certified mattress sheet and a removable foot cover to keep little legs protected from the sun.

I am curious to know how stable the base is considering it's stand is in a different style from that of other bassinets for purchase?

Best Answer:  Although the Mockingbird Bassinet Stand has a different look than many traditional four-legged bassinets, it's designed to provide a stable, secure sleep surface. When the bassinet is attached to the stand, the combination is tested to meet ASTM F2194 and federal 16 CFR Part 1218 bassinet safety standards and is approved for overnight sleep.

The stand has a wide footprint (about 20" × 30"), non-slip foot pads, and a locking attachment system to keep the bassinet securely in place. As with any bassinet, it's important to use it on a flat, level floor and make sure the bassinet is fully locked onto the stand before each use.

Can you fit 2 bassinets on the stroller at the same time?

Best Answer:  While the Mockingbird is designed to hold two children, the configuration only supports one bassinet along with another toddler seat or car seat.

Worth it
If you’re on the fence about purchasing this bassinet I say go for it. I was always so skeptical but this being my 3rd baby and the smallest and most scrunched of all my newborns I want comfortable having him be in his car seat as his preferred strolling method so a3 days after he was born I purchased this and I couldn’t be happier I love that it can grow with him and isn’t just useful as a newborn I’ve seen tik toks of people using it with older babies who are able to sit up and have toys and

Great bassinet
It is light and easy to use. I love all the openings for more air entry. Baby was born during the summer so we use it almost every day at parks and walks.

Requires stand
Great bassinet, however it cannot be placed directly on a flat surface, despite the product photo above of the rubber feet on the bottom, indicating it can be set down without the bassinet collapsing. Many bassinets have this ability so it is an intentional design flaw so you purchase the stand. The product is intentionally dangerous and life threatening. Why the rubber feet?

The best
Quality product, feels sturdy and I trust my newborn is safe in it even with other little running around. We love using it on the go for our newborn to be able to stretch out on walks instead of being strapped into a seat. One of our favorite baby related purchases to date!

Nice
Very nice product but you need lots of cargo space to fit it in the car. It doesn’t fold compactly and you have to remove every attachment to fold it. I have a Mercedes van so this isn’t an issue but If I take my Nissan Pathfinder I can’t fit the stroller in the back with the seats up.
