The double zipper and self-standing features are good, but the flap of plastic at the top is way too big (waste of plastic, waste of space). The notches for “easy rip” at the top make it so you end up tearing the bag across where you’ve just written the date, time, and quantity (which is also upside down).
Look for a better bag with the writing area on the main part of the bag. And the bags with the easy pour spout are even better!

Description
These bags are affordable and extremely leakproof with reinforced seams and a double zipper top. They’ve got a nice big label at the top for you to write the date, volume pumped, and your child’s name, which most moms really like (although some are bothered that the label takes up space). Keep in mind: For any freezer bag the measurements on the side are going to be slightly inaccurate, but compared to other freezer bag brands, these are decently accurate. One downside to these bags is that pouring smoothly from them can be a bit tricky. It helps to rip off the label before pouring.

When I first used the Avent Brest milk storage bags, I was surprised how thin they felt, having a harder plastic feel than the bags I previously used. That being said, they are surprisingly durable and sturdy yet the zipper closure is fairly easy to open and close. These bags are great, they freeze nice and flat and you can fit 10 flat bags in a large freezer bag perfectly for easier storage.
