Sprucely’s Milk Storage Bags securely store and freeze breast milk. Made with thick and durable BPA-free plastic, they have a double zip lock top and heat-sealed sides to prevent leaks, plus a reinforced base that allows the bags to stand on their own.
To save space, they can also be laid flat in the freezer—they’re leak-proof in every direction. Each bag has a dedicated space to record your name, date/time and volume for easy tracking.

Can these be used in a warmer?
Best Answer: Yes. Sprucely Milk Storage Bags can be warmed, but not in the microwave or by boiling. If your bottle warmer is designed to safely warm breast milk storage bags, you can use the bags in that type of warmer. Otherwise, the recommended method is to thaw or warm the sealed bag in warm water.
Is it also PVC and phthalate-free?

TERRIBLE
You want to talk about postpartum rage? Try writing anything on these bags. I don’t know what material they are made out of, but I’ve tried every last one of my pens and the ink doesn’t show up on them. I received a 300 count box of these and I’m actually throwing them out because of how mad they make me.

No pour spout
No pour spout! These waste the very little supply I produce because there isn’t a pour spout so the milk is stuck in the two strips that seal at the top when I pour the milk out. Do not recommend!! I’m so upset that these are what Babylist provided with my breast pump. Definitely order directly from Spectra or other manufacturer to get your pump (using insurance) to get their free bags instead of these terrible ones.

Quality of these bags went way down! They are so frustrating to close! Very difficult to snap the bag close and get all the air out. Milk will leak out and it’s mesh. So disappointed I loved these bags when I first got them.

Not good
These bags bust, leak and have holes in them once milk is frozen. 0/10

Leaky bags
I received these with my insurance covered spectra pump and have used these while exclusively pumping. The plastic is sturdy unfrozen and they are easy to pour from. However, after freezing, I have had AT LEAST 5 bags that have leaked. This has been super frustrating because that is at least 25oz of breastmilk that has been lost. For reference, I only fill to 6oz, lay flat, and try to be as gentle as possible with freezing and defrosting. All I can think of is the time, energy, and sacrifice that was wasted with those bags. It truly is a gamble now when I’m defrosting my milk.

Did they change the bags?
The old bags with the teal writing were by far my favorite. I’m not sure what happened with the bags using orange writing but they seem thinner and are harder to remove all the air from when storing.

Best milk storage bags!
As a mom of 3 who has tried many breastmilk storage bags including Medela, Lansinoh, Up & Up, Momcozy -- these are the absolute best! The plastic is strong and sturdy, I have never had a leak. The closing mechanism is easy and reliable. They are easy to label and measure and mark and read. They stand upright. And they are smaller than most other storage bags. I reach for these again and again over any other bag that I have tried!

Favorite Bags for Fridge and Freezer
I've tried the Lansinoh, Up & Up, and the Momcozy brands. These are the best quality breast milk bags I've used. They stand up great while filling them and in the fridge. I've had no issues with them and my freezer stash. The quality of these bags is what I love - they are thicker and less flimsy than many of the other breast milk bags. I pay out of pocket for these since Babylist doesn't partner with my insurance, and I love them.

Leaky bags
These bags leak. Their “double seal” is very weak and does not lay flat well. I think they are made to only stand up in the fridge. I was afraid to freeze because they leaked every time I laid them flat.
This is the only brand Babylist facilitates refills with, so I reached out to my insurance for other companies because I would rather pay/figure out something else than continue to use this brand for free.
