The Tray turns your Tripp Trapp Chair into a standalone high chair, while the Cushion adds softness, style and comfort.
The Stokke Tripp Trapp High Chair made its debut in 1972 and has been going strong ever since (Stokke calls it a “chair for life” for a reason). Devotees love the iconic Scandinavian design that’s highly functional and looks great with your grown-up decor.
This versatile chair brings your baby right up to the table to join the family meal. The adjustable design has both depth-and height-adjustable seat and footplates for ergonomic seating position at any age. The footplate effectively brings the floor up to your child, allowing for greater balance, comfort and freedom of movement.
Norwegian manufacturer Stokke makes the chairs from high-quality, solid European beech or oak wood with an attention to craftsmanship. The Tripp Trapp is a sturdy piece of furniture (it holds up to 300 lbs) that would be very hard for a child to tip, even for toddlers who are climbing in and out of the chair on their own.
The Baby Set provides support and stability starting around six months. When baby is learning to sit, the Baby Set gives little ones comfortable side and back support. It also provides freedom of movement and helps teach them the important skill of sitting. When they can confidently climb in and out of their chair on their own, you can remove the Baby Set. This latest version has an updated safe and intuitive harness buckle, two click-in points and a quick, one-click release button. You can completely remove the harness for easier cleaning (it’s machine wash safe) and attach it back in about 30 seconds.

Not worth it
The adjustable foot rest alone earned this thing a low rating. Slides off way too easily. Can’t count how many times it gets pushed or kicked off and lands on toes. Designer should be fired.

Must get- great purchase
I love love this item- It's such a good investment since it grows with baby. Stylish, easy for me to use myself without help, adjusts well, and lasts a long time. Wouldn't think twice!

Already broken within 1 year
Got as a gift April 2024 for new grandbaby because I had the same with my kids, but quality not the same. The floor guards don't stay on and, a few weeks ago, the tray tab broke. Now I have to spend about $80. to replace because it won't stay on the chair. Tried to replace with warranty, but unable to speak to a real person. Disappointed

What am I missing?
I do not understand why everyone raves about this high chair. We just sent it back. Yes it it stylish and doesn't take up a lot of room - stars for that. It is next to impossible to remove the tray... I don't know that I ever figured it out. The infant seat barely fit my 9 month old and although the cloth seat is a nice, comfy touch, there is going to be food ALL over it and we would have to wash with every use. It is also not easy to remove. Cool that the feet adjust as the child grows, but so do many other high chairs. I don't get the hype AT ALL.

absolutely stunning!
Get the chair!! You will not regret it! I wish I had gotten it with my first 2 years ago, but so happy to have it for my toddler and newborn now. It will be with us for many years. So comfortable and safe. Love all of the color options, and you can not go wrong with its timeless design. It is an absolutely beautiful piece of furniture!!!

Be careful about the warranty before you buy this.
No warranty for the specific tripp trapp baby set when I attempted to receive assistance on that portion when it broke from the actual chair. I was hoping for better service considering the cost of this chair. I will not be buying this chair for my other children.

Mealtime Nostalgia!
We really love our Tripp Trapp. It’s become such a natural part of our everyday life. From sharing lunch with her big sister to sitting right up at the table like a big girl, it’s one of those things we use without even thinking about it. The design is beautiful, but even more than that, it just works. It grows with her, fits right into our home, and makes mealtime feel like family time every time.

We have used this (and the infant bassinet attachment) pretty much daily since our son was ~1-2 months old. It's sturdy, it's straightforward, it's easy to clean, and stylish enough that I don't hate it living in my kitchen. We've even started bringing it out into the deck for outdoor dinners, and it's easy to move around one-handed.

Amazing and versatile
I love this chair so much and so do my children! It is so versatile and I put it to good use ranging from my 17 month told to my 4 year old! I love the dark wood brown it’s so classic and timeless. My favorite feature is how easily washable everything is! This chair will be in our family for generations and I love that!
