The Tray turns your Tripp Trapp Chair into a standalone high chair, while the Cushion adds softness, style and comfort.
The Stokke Tripp Trapp High Chair made its debut in 1972 and has been going strong ever since (Stokke calls it a “chair for life” for a reason). Devotees love the iconic Scandinavian design that’s highly functional and looks great with your grown-up decor.
This versatile chair brings your baby right up to the table to join the family meal. The adjustable design has both depth-and height-adjustable seat and footplates for ergonomic seating position at any age. The footplate effectively brings the floor up to your child, allowing for greater balance, comfort and freedom of movement.
Norwegian manufacturer Stokke makes the chairs from high-quality, solid European beech or oak wood with an attention to craftsmanship. The Tripp Trapp is a sturdy piece of furniture (it holds up to 300 lbs) that would be very hard for a child to tip, even for toddlers who are climbing in and out of the chair on their own.
The Baby Set provides support and stability starting around six months. When baby is learning to sit, the Baby Set gives little ones comfortable side and back support. It also provides freedom of movement and helps teach them the important skill of sitting. When they can confidently climb in and out of their chair on their own, you can remove the Baby Set. This latest version has an updated safe and intuitive harness buckle, two click-in points and a quick, one-click release button. You can completely remove the harness for easier cleaning (it’s machine wash safe) and attach it back in about 30 seconds.

My favorite baby item
I got a Tripp Trapp a year ago for my first baby. We also have the newborn seat, so we were able to use it from day one. To say this was our most used item is an understatement. We set our baby in the seat no only for every meal we ate at the table, but also for while we cooked meals, did the dishes, and generally hanging out inte kitchen/dining room. Our baby has since transitioned into the baby seat as we did baby led weaning and still eats with us at the table (we skipped the tray). We love…

So disappointed after waiting so long
I bought this a few weeks ago and one of the parts doesn’t fit. The phone number doesn’t work any more. I’ve submitted a reclamation form, and emailed. And nothing. But I trusted this brand so much we got rid of our other high chair, so now we’re just waiting and she’s in something portable. So disappointing. I waited almost two years to finally invest in one!

Great from the getgo!
I had been planning to buy this when my baby got older, but friend got us the newborn attachment for our baby shower, so we bought it as soon as the baby came. It has been our go-to spot to see the baby down when we’re in the kitchen or eating. She loves lying in there and will nap or watch us cook. The height is great, right at countertop level. The quality and craftsmanship are excellent in the chair, and we can’t wait to use it as an actual high chair soon!

Great for toddler
I bought this for my 2 year who wanted to get in and out of his booster seat independently. I was worried it would take him a while to warm up to it but he loved it immediately. He’s still getting the hang of getting in and out of it but it’s a huge improvement. I’m very happy with the purchase.

I bought this chair 6 months ago and had to buy another. I love the versatility and craftsmanship. These chairs are beautiful and the infant seat has been a life saver with a newborn and toddler.
