Description
The Storkcraft Universal Toddler Safety Guardrail (Dowels) is a conversion accessory that adds a protective rail to select compatible Graco and Storkcraft convertible cribs when you’re ready to transition to a toddler bed. Before purchasing, confirm your specific crib model is compatible—Storkcraft and Graco offer multiple guardrail options, so checking your crib’s assembly instructions first ensures the right fit.
Built from pine and engineered wood, the guardrail features a classic dowel design that delivers long-lasting strength and everyday reliability. A single guardrail is included in the kit, available in multiple finishes so you can match it closely to your existing crib.
The guardrail is GREENGUARD Gold Certified, meaning it has been screened for more than 15,000 VOCs and is verified as low-emitting for cleaner indoor air. It is also Baby Safety Alliance Verified—independently tested at an accredited lab against the highest mandatory and voluntary safety standards, with annual retesting to keep pace with updated requirements.
Care is simple: wipe the guardrail down with a damp cloth to clean.

Item is dangerous! I purchased this guardrail to go with my son’s storkcraft crib. After just one use, my son got his leg stuck in the slats and we had to saw off one of the dowels to get his leg free. This never happened in his crib so the dowel spacing for the guardrail must be wider. Don’t purchase this product!!!

Bad product, worse customer service
I bought this toddler safety guardrail for my daughter’s storkcraft crib. According to the description, it was an exact match for the crib. When we got the guardrail none of the holes matched up with the crib so we couldn’t use it. When I asked about how to return the item I was told I had to share photos, part numbers, a whole list of information in my return (a bit excessive but ok we can do that) but then I learn there is a 15% restocking fee because we opened the package. Yes, we opened it…
