The Best Luxury Strollers of 2026
Yes, a stroller can be a flex.

In This Article
Heirloom quality cribs crafted from sustainably harvested Brazilian pine. Small batch silk baby carriers. A diaper bag that looks more like a classic designer tote than something you stuff a spit-up-covered footie into.
There’s no shortage of luxury baby gear, and strollers are no exception. For many families, they may feel like a splurge. But the best luxury strollers earn their price tag. They deliver on every detail: how they push, how they fold, how they feel under your hands, and of course, how they look.
As Babylist’s gear editor, I’ve tested dozens of strollers over the years. And here’s what I’ve noticed about luxe strollers: the best ones don’t make you choose. They’re beautiful and functional, packed with thoughtful features and built to last through the newborn stage, the toddler years and everything in between. They’re worth the investment, making your day-to-day life as a parent a little bit (actually, sometimes a lot) easier.
These six are the luxe strollers I keep coming back to.
Luxury Looks, Even Better Performance
Nuna SWIV - Cedar
From $1,000.00Like most Nuna gear, the first thing you’ll notice about this stroller is its good looks. The sleek design, elevated fabrics and thoughtful details like vegan leather accents and high-end finishes immediately set the Swiv apart as a luxury stroller. But what’s just as impressive is how it performs; it’s a stroller where performance truly matches style.
The Swiv’s trademark feature is its wheels. With a quick squeeze of a button, all four swivel a full 360°, allowing the stroller to glide effortlessly in any direction—not just forward and back like most strollers, but side to side, too. You’ll really appreciate this feature in crowded spaces, but you may be surprised how much you’ll also use it in everyday life.
Beyond the wheels, the frame and fold are equally impressive. The frame is made from a lightweight carbon fiber and reinforced aluminum, bringing the total weight to just over 20 pounds—about six pounds lighter than many full-size strollers. This may not sound like much, but it makes a huge difference when you’re lifting and loading the stroller every day. And speaking of the fold, it’s just as thoughtful; quick, easy and self-standing, which is always a win in my book.
Other luxe features to love include a modular seat, all-wheel suspension, a large storage basket with a 22-pound capacity, a height-adjustable handlebar, magnetic buckles, adjustable calf support and an all-season seat. The stroller comes fully loaded with accessories, including a carry bag, seat insert, rain cover, cup holder and ring adapter for any PIPA series infant car seat.
Worth noting:
The Swiv isn’t newborn-ready on its own. If you want to use the stroller from day one, you’ll need to add a PIPA series infant car seat (using the included ring adapter) or a bassinet.

The Everyday Luxury Workhorse
UPPAbaby Cruz V3 Stroller - Ada
From $899.99Iconic baby brand UPPAbaby is often praised for durability and performance, two of its biggest hallmarks. The Cruz effortlessly delivers on both. It’s a well-made, incredibly functional stroller that makes everyday outings a true pleasure. But what’s often overlooked are the thoughtful details that elevate the Cruz to a true luxury pick. There isn’t one thing they didn’t think of. “The Cruz is perfect,” said one parent in our annual Most Loved Baby Products survey.
UPPAbaby put a huge amount of thought into how the Cruz pushes and steers, and it shows. It’s one of the easiest strollers to maneuver and can confidently handle a wide range of terrain. The newest version adds one of my favorite luxe upgrades: a lay-flat seat. By converting the seat into carriage mode and using the included infant insert, you can use it from day one—no bassinet or infant car seat required. There’s also a reversible seat and a massive storage basket with a 30-pound (!) weight limit.
It’s the smaller, often-overlooked details that really set the Cruz apart. The stroller features magnetic buckles (making daily ins and outs much easier), an adjustable handlebar with authentic, full-grain leather, reflective wheel trim for added visibility at night, elevated fabrics and colorways and a canopy that slides up and down to better accommodate growing kids—helping extend the life of the stroller.
The Cruz includes a bug shield, rain shield and infant insert. You can use either of UPPAbaby's infant car seats, the Mesa or Aria, directly with the stroller, or add adapters to pair it with a selection of popular seats from brands like Nuna and Chicco. (If you prefer to go the bassinet route, that's also an option.)
Worth noting:
The Cruz is on the heavy side at just about 28 pounds, and fairly bulky. And while the fold is easy, it does require two hands.

Luxury That Grows with Your Family
Bugaboo Donkey 6 Stroller - Misty White
From $1,699.00Bugaboo is an iconic Dutch brand built on the idea of seamlessly integrating form and function in the world of strollers. When the brand entered the US market in the early 2000s, it was immediately recognized as a luxury standout. (It was even Miranda’s stroller of choice on Sex and the City.) Nearly 25 years later, that reputation still holds—and the Donkey remains one of the ultimate symbols of stroller luxury. It’s also incredibly innovative and versatile. It’s the only side-by-side convertible stroller—a stroller that expands to hold two or even three kids—on the market.
The Donkey is pricey, even within the luxury category, but for the right family, I always say it’s worth every penny. It’s extremely versatile, starting as a single stroller, then converting to a side-by-side double for siblings or twins as your family grows, with more than 20 different configurations. It’s also one of the narrowest side-by-side doubles available, so fitting through standard doorways, elevators and tighter city spaces is rarely an issue.
And the handling? It’s still one of the most impressive I’ve tested, even decades after its launch. Whether you have one, two or even three kids onboard, it steers smoothly, turns easily and glides over uneven sidewalks and rougher terrain thanks to its excellent suspension and large, puncture-proof wheels. No other side-by-side double really comes close. “I cannot believe that I’ve lived without this stroller before,” one parent gushed in our annual survey.
Like the other strollers on this list, the Donkey doesn’t overlook the details. From the integrated side storage bag and organic cotton fabrics to the beautiful colorways and breathable bassinet mattress, everything feels elevated and thoughtfully designed.
Worth noting:
The Donkey isn’t the easiest to break down and fold, especially in double mode. If you need to fold your stroller multiple times a day or need something that fits easily into a small trunk, this isn’t the best choice.

Heritage Style, Modern Performance
Silver Cross Reef 2 Stroller - Frappe
From $1,199.99If you’re an Anglophile, a royalist or simply appreciate a brand with a storied history and a beautiful aesthetic, look no further than Silver Cross. The inventor of the first baby carriage, the brand was founded in England in 1877 and is still going strong today. While Silver Cross now makes a wide range of baby gear, it’s best known for its strollers—often referred to as the pram of choice for the British royal family.
The Reef fits right in with the theme we’ve seen across all the luxury strollers on this list: a seamless blend of form and function. It’s both incredibly beautiful and incredibly good at what it’s supposed to do: making daily outings with your baby a lot easier.
“It feels like a stroller that doesn’t force you to choose between style and function—it delivers both beautifully,” one parent told us in our annual survey. “And the overall look and design are beautiful. It feels luxurious and well-made, with high-quality materials that give it a polished, sophisticated feel. I constantly get compliments on it, and it definitely feels like a premium product.”
The Reef features a durable frame and excellent suspension, XL tires and a reversible seat. The flat recline makes it newborn-ready from day one. (You can also add an infant car seat or a bassinet.) The handlebar is adjustable, and the highest setting is really high—tall parents consistently call it out for how comfortable it is to push. The fabrics are elevated and the padding on the seat is one of the cushiest around. And the fold is quick and one-handed—extra impressive for a full-size stroller—and the Reef stands on its own when folded.
Worth noting:
Like most full-size strollers, the Reef is heavy, weighing in at almost 28 pounds, and a bit bulky. Some parents also note that the buckle can be tough to fasten.

For Runs, Walks and Everything in Between
Thule Urban Glide 3 - Dark Slate
From $799.95If you think a jogging stroller can’t be luxurious, think again. The Urban Glide is sleek, aerodynamic and just as comfortable for you to push as it is for your little one to ride in, even on long, bumpy runs. And thanks to its streamlined design and easy fold, many families use it as an everyday stroller, too.
“It’s the perfect combination of style, functionality, and smooth handling,” said one parent in our survey. “I would buy this stroller again and again,” noted another. “I love everything about it.”
Pushing the Urban Glide, even on a run, feels like an elevated experience. The longer frame makes tight turns easy, while the large rear wheels and all-wheel suspension provide a smooth ride, even off-road. Everything feels premium, from the quality fabric and thoughtful ventilation to the XL canopy and one-handed recline. And it’s compatible with a range of infant car seats as well as a bassinet, so you can use it from day one. (Just wait until baby has solid head and neck control to jog with it, usually around six to nine months.)
Worth noting:
The storage basket has a weatherproof covering, which is great for the elements but makes getting your diaper bag ina nd out tough. The self-standing fold can also be tricky to get right.
Additional Specs
Stroller Weight: 26.2 lbs
Child Guidelines: From birth with an infant car seat and adapter or bassinet; up to 50 lbs. Use with infant car seat or bassinet only until child has sufficient head and neck control, approx 6 mos.
Luxury with a Boost
Cybex eGazelle S Electronic Assist Stroller - Silver Frame/Stone Grey Seat
From $1,199.95Does true stroller luxury mean you’ll never have to sweat schlepping up a hill? The Cybex eGazelle S feels like a glimpse into the future. This luxury stroller features electronic assist technology that gives you a boost when pushing uphill and helps control speed on the way down, making it especially appealing for city parents navigating uneven terrain.
“It is 1000% worth it, especially in areas like ours that have lots of hills and inclines when going for walks,” one parent shared with us. “I feel like I’m living in the baby gear future.”
Beyond the e-assist, the eGazelle S is also a highly versatile, full-featured stroller. Like the standard Gazelle, it easily converts from a single to a double as your family grows, with more than 20 configurations for siblings or twins. The seat offers an ergonomic near-flat recline for newborn use (or you can add a bassinet or infant car seat), and the overall build feels premium, from the high-quality fabrics to the sturdy aluminum frame. And you can utilize the built-in tech for soothing, too; there’s a built-in rocking feature that moves the stroller gently back and forth when your baby gets fussy.
It’s also designed with everyday practicality in mind. You’ll get generous storage between the main basket and a removable shopping basket, a one-pull harness, all-wheel suspension and a smooth one-hand recline. And despite its size and added tech, it folds down compactly enough to fit in most trunks.
Worth noting:
The e-assist feature requires charging, so you’ll need to stay on top of battery life to get the most out of it. And because of the motorized components, it’s also very heavy, weighing over 30 pounds.
Additional Specs
Stroller Weight: 32.4 lbs
Child Guidelines: From birth with Gazelle S Cot or infant car seat (sold separately); seat suitable from 3 mos to 50 lbs
