The Mesa V3 features even more improvements to this popular UPPAbaby infant car seat.
One key update: the deluxe, full-coverage UPF 50+ canopy with a magnetic mesh ventilation and peek-a-boo window to keep an eye on baby.
The 4th anti-rebound handle position offers enhanced protection in rebound and rear-impact collisions, while the large, adjustable headrest (with 25 positions) provides extra side impact protection.
For smaller babies, the infant insert optimizes positioning for 4-11 lbs.
The no-rethread 5-point harness makes adjustments easier, and the magnetic harness buckle holder helps with loading and unloading. An ergonomic carry handle offers one-handed stroller release button and two buckle positions.
The carrier weighs under 10 lbs for comfortable toting and attaches directly to Vista and Cruz strollers to create a premium travel system.
The base features the SMARTSecure System for fast installation, a red-to-green tightness indicator, built-in lock-off for secure seatbelt use, Auto-Retracting LATCH and a four-position adjustable foot for leveling.
The Mesa offers European Routing for secure installation without the base.

Is this car seat compatible with the original vista stroller?
Best Answer: Yes, if by the "original Vista" you mean a Vista from 2015 or newer. The UPPAbaby Mesa V3 (including the Ada fashion) attaches directly to Vista strollers from 2015 onward with no adapters required.
Does this need adapters for the Vista V3 stroller?

Great! But not newborn insert..
Easy to clip in and out and compatible with stroller. We have 2 bases so only need 1 car seat for both cars! Baby is comfortable in the seat however he could not use the newborn insert because he failed his car seat test due to the way it had his body positioned. Once we took this out he passed his test no problem and we have been smooth sailing in the car ever since.

Beat choice for the first car seat
We’ve had this car seat for a year now and honestly really love it. Our baby always seemed comfortable in it and never really fussed in the car. It feels sturdy, safe, and is easy enough to clean. We’ve been really happy with it and I’m glad we went with this one for his first car seat.

DO NOT BUY
This new version of the Mesa car seat should not be allowed to be sold. The car seat puts the baby’s head in an unsafe position and restricts their airways. Do not buy.

Meh. Not as high quality as expected
I have used this seat since my daughter was born four months ago. The canopy on the seat is constantly popping out of place and needing to be put back in but then it doesn’t latch correctly and pops back out again. At this point, it has totally come off the seat and is hard to get back on so she has no UPF canopy. I bought through Amazon so even though it is Uppababy’s storefront you have to deal with Amazon’s customer service instead of uppababy directly.

Terrible and unsafe seat position no matter what
I did a lot of research on my car seat for our son who is now 8 weeks old and I am utterly disappointed in my car seat decision. Despite reading the manual, watching videos and the car seat team at our hospital check baby’s position in the seat, it seems so unsafe. Baby’s chin is tucked to his chest and has a hard time breathing. How am I supposed to trust that my baby is truly safe in his car seat if he is wailing and screaming in discomfort. I will not be buying another up baby car seat for this reason, I do not want to be disappointed or waste money on another uncomfortable seat!!

Will recommend to every new parent
My baby used this car seat from birth to 15 months and I absolutely loved it. My baby fit so perfect. As a first time parent it was fool proof to use, easy to install, and it was very easy to take through the airport. I will be using this car seat for next child.

Greatly regret this purchase
We have purchased many Uppababy products (car seats, strollers, accessories), and this is the first that is completely unusable for us. We had a Mesa with our older child and were happy with it. This new edition does not fit our baby at all, but because we bought it before our baby’s birth and had to use it to get home from the hospital, Uppababy has said we have no recourse for returning it. Do not recommend
I have the mesa and it’s horrible. My kid sits in a C shape position in this car seat no matter how we adjust per the instructions and he screams the entire time from discomfort and his cry sounds off because his chin is tucked to his chest. I can’t return it because I bought it from before he was born and uppa baby customer service has been useless. Won’t be purchasing from this company ever again. Such a waste of money!

Best infant car seat
I bought this for my new baby girl as a first time mom and I am so grateful we did! Having a car seat that fits directly into the stroller (the cruz is what we had) is life changing. Very easy to use and safe. Easy to install the base and they are portable and can be transferred to other cars.
