Shea McGee’s Baby Registry on Babylist.

Shea McGee, home designer and owner of Studio McGee, is pregnant! She and her partner, Syd, star in the Emmy-nomimated hit Netflix series Dream Home Makeover, which follows them as they run their design business and renovate their clients’ homes. The couple has two daughters and they’re expecting their third baby this July.

Shea used Babylist to create her baby registry and find all the things she needs to plan and prepare for her family’s newest addition.

We spoke with Shea to get the details behind some of her top registry picks and how her family is getting ready for their newest baby. If you love the McGee style, you’ll love hearing about the biggest surprise of Shea’s third pregnancy and what she’s most excited about on her registry.

How are you taking care of yourself during your pregnancy?

I try to get to sleep earlier than usual and go for a walk every morning.

What’s surprised you most about being pregnant for the third time?

That every pregnancy is so different! With my first two I was sick for the first trimester, but with my third I was sick until about 23 weeks.

What advice would you give to other pregnant people right now?

You can do it! All the memories of the aches and pains will fade as soon as you hold your little one.

How have your daughters responded to your pregnancy?

They are so excited and ready to be big helpers. It’s made this pregnancy so much fun to experience their eager anticipation right alongside them.

How are you thinking about nursery decorating?

I love to create a foundation that will grow up with my babies into childhood. I love wallpaper, and we’ll be using a neutral botanical print that will work with the crib and also transition to a great backdrop for a bed.

What are the products that you’re most excited to try as a third-time parent?

Curated Babylist Boxes

Babylist Pacifier Box (7 Pacifiers + 1 Clip) - $29.99.

In the beginning, you and your baby are just getting to know each other, so there is a lot of trial and error! I am so excited about these sampler boxes so I don’t have to buy full sets of different bottles and pacifiers and end up with lots of extras, but can still figure out what works best for us.

Lalo High Chair - Coconut - $235.00.

You know I love good design, but I also appreciate functionality. The Lalo combines the best of both worlds. I love the sleek, wipeable seat paired with the modern wood legs. My nephew already took it for a test drive! It was a hit and very easy to clean.

$235.00
Nuna TAVO Next Stroller - Caviar - $550.00.

We had the Nuna Pipa car seat with Ivy and loved it, so we decided to go that route again this time. I love that there will be a seamless connection to the Nuna stroller without having to buy extra attachments. The one-handed close is awesome, and the design lover in me is a big fan of the faux leather handle.

Baby Brezza Formula Pro Advanced - White On Black - $199.99.

As busy parents, a machine that dispenses warm, mixed formula right into your bottle for you sounds like magic.

Elvie Breast Pump - Single - $299.99.

With my other two babies, I spent countless hours trying to juggle life, work and pumping. I’m so excited to not be hooked up and immobile with this brilliant pump that will allow me to multitask.
