Is the mattress pad waterproof?
Best Answer: The 1" mattress pad is waterproof.
Can the natural one be stained?
Best Answer: While it's technically possible to stain the Washed Natural crib, it's important to keep in mind that all the paints and stains used by Babyletto have been tested for safety. If you choose to use a different paint or stain, it may not have undergone the same testing. Also, altering the product in this way would void your warranty.
How many inches is it from the upper mattress setting to the top of the crib? (The higher of the two settings, the lower being if it was near the bottom).
Best Answer: The top of the mattress support in the highest position to the floor is 14.25 inches. The total crib height is 35.75 inches, meaning about 21.5 inches from the top of the support in bassinet mode, to the top railing of the crib. The height your baby will be at will depend on how thick of a mattress you choose.

Crib "mattress pad"
Love the origami crib and the small footprint. Nice upgrade from bassinet to keep baby in our small room. However, not sure why you bother even sending a "mattress pad" with the crib because it's completely useless. It would have worked if this thing didn't make a ridiculous amount of noise with every tiny movement! How do you expect a baby to sleep on this!? Or is it just a money grab to make parents buy an actual mini crib mattress? C'mon Babyletto, you have great products - do better for the already tired parents who just want their babies to sleep.

Good crib, wheels/casters are terrible
We've been using this crib for 18 months. It has suited our needs and overall the quality is good. But the wheels are terrible, as other reviews have noted. I just requested a replacement set, after months of hating them, because within the last two weeks one came apart and one broke. They have never worked well, they don't roll smoothly and steering feels like that one crappy grocery cart you always get at the store. I doubt the replacement casters will be better, seeing the recent reviews, but…

Great crib, wheels need work.
I like the crib so far but havent tried it for my baby. I'm expecting my first child in November. Assembly was easy by following the instructions. The wheels are my only issue. They were so loud! So, I did some research and took measurements & found replacement casters for the wheels. Now it's smooth & quiet how I expected them to be. For the price point I would like for it to come with nicer, noiseless, and better quality wheels. But overall seems good so far.

I love love love this crib. It’s beautiful and so well made. The bright blue is gorgeous. The wheels make it so easy to move. We keep it in our bedroom. It’s a perfect size!

Great size mini crib

We wanted a crib that could fit between doorways so we can roll it between rooms and found that the Origami crib was perfect! The honey color is beautiful and stained instead of painted. Fits standard mini crib mattresses which is very convenient.

Wonderful
I’m so glad we went with this mini crib than a bassinet. My daughter would have outgrown her bassinet by now. She is 3 months and is able to turn and move however she wants through the night. Love that it sits up higher for her age right now and we will be able to put it lower once she starts sitting and trying to stand. Highly recommend if you have a smaller place and want to have baby sleeping in the room with you. Also the wheels allow for easy transitions into different rooms. Buy the mini mattress and Muslim sheets too.

Mini crib
We love our mini crib, we’re in a small home for time being and my children are close in age (15 mo apart) so they will have to share a room eventually but not before my newest was going to be out of the bassinet. I honestly wish we got it for our first instead of the bassinet bc we could have slept in the same room longer. I mean everyone’s needs are different, but it’s working really well for us so far!

Terrible Smell
From the moment it was delivered, this crib was a nightmare. It it supposed green certified everything and it off gassed so much we had to leave it outside for a couple of days unopened. It still smelled so toxic after two days that we returned it. This is a baby’s crib. Are you kidding me? When we contacted support, they doubled down on all their green certifications. I’ve never smelled anything so toxic in my life, it triggered allergy attacks for several household members. Avoid at all costs.

Good but would be better if it had a higher level
The crib is great. The wheels don’t turn very easily and sometimes scrape on the floor instead of turning, but the wheels eventually spin as you push the crib. My husband added an additional piece of wood for raising the mattress to bassinet height, which I very much recommend. My first baby outgrew the bassinet at two months and had to go in the big crib in her own room rather young, so having a mini crib modified to bassinet depth is going to work better for this baby that will also be a long…
