Does the newton mini crib mattress fit this crib when in the bassinet setting or the midi setting?
Best Answer: Any Mini crib mattress will not fit the Yuzu in Midi crib conversion. It needs the matching Babyletto Midi crib mattress. The midi conversion is not a standard size.

For the newborn and infant stage crib, can I use it without the wheels?

Good but…The wheels are horrible

I bought this crib for my first baby and liked it so much that I purchased the same one again for my second. My kids are only 13 months apart, so we have used the bassinet feature a lot. Unfortunately, the wheels on the bassinet are horrible. They feel like the cheapest possible quality.
The wheels constantly get stuck or twist sideways so they end up perpendicular to the direction you are trying to move it. Instead of rolling smoothly, it jerks and drags. It drives me crazy.

Not what I expected
After unboxing the crib, we noticed there were multiple dents and scratches which is very disappointing. The quality looks very cheap.

The package comes in a very large and heavy box. It’s quite heavy because it includes all the necessary items to convert the crib. I noticed that the pieces seem to be very well made. The instructions are easy to follow. And the placement is very well crafted.

Wonderful crib for flexibility and a lot of options. Beautiful in every modality. Midi size is really great for small spaces. It has multiple height options. Slightly larger than typical mini cribs. Can be used bedside/cosleeping. Took some time to assemble, but not too difficult. Comes with all equipment.

Good products but could be better
We very much like this crib, it’s a great piece to use through each stage. BUT for the price the wheels suck! They are cheap plastic wheels that are very loud - not great for a sleeping newborn when you’re moving it around. They lock easily so we’ll go to move it and won’t be able to, again - sleeping baby. And they are not smooth so the crib jolts when being rolled. Surely Babyletto can build a crib on wheels that has quieter smooth wheels

Obsessed with my new Yuzu Crib!!
The Yuzu Crib is exactly what I wanted. I got it in the "natural" and it looks amazing in my little girl's room. I started with it on the bassinet setting, which is so ideal because it takes up much less space when we need to prioritize as much room for a changing station as possible. It was very easy to assemble and we just stored the expansion parts in the garage. 10/10 recommend!
