Description
This Graco car seat gives you ten years of use with one seat.
It transitions from a rear-facing harness (4–40 lbs) to a forward-facing harness (26.5–65 lbs) to highback belt-positioning booster (40–100 lbs) to a backless belt-positioning booster (40–120 lbs).
Features include a RapidRemove cover, an integrated belt lock-off for easy installation and rubberized Fuss Free harness storage for extra accessibility.
The Simply Safe Adjust Harness System and 10-position headrest lets you adjust the harness and headrest together with no rethreading.
The 6-position recline keeps your child comfortable, while the InRight LATCH system makes installation easy.
The 4Ever DLX is side-impact tested according to FMVSS 213a with the built-in 5-point harness system.

My baby is almost 4 months and is over 12 pounds. When am I supposed to remove the newborn insert? Do I remove the head and bottom piece?
Best Answer: For the Graco 4Ever DLX, you’ll remove the newborn head and body inserts once your baby outgrows them based on fit—not just weight. Graco allows the head and body support to be used as long as they provide a proper fit and the harness sits at or below your baby’s shoulders (rear-facing). If the inserts are pushing your baby’s head forward or the fit looks snug without them, you can remove them—just be sure to follow the manual for guidance.
Can this one recline while baby is in car seat?
For the 6 position incline can I use that while baby is in the car seat? ?

Great seat, Bad cup holders
Everything about this seat is top notch, but for some reason the cup holders are too small for most bottles or drink cups. Fix that and this would be the best seat available.

I purchased my first dlx 4-in-one carseat for for grandson 2 years ago, its perfect has inserts and cushioning head rest attachment for smaller children that can be removed as they grow. Purchased my second dlx 4-in-one last week for my granddaughter, these are by far the best carseats out there. The car seat comes with a balance meter attached for stability and correct easy installation. The harness increases the safety and is easy to use and comfortable.

I bought this for my 10 month old when he grew out of his infant seat. I love it! Very easy to use and install, clear directions and you can’t beat the safety ratings, which was the most important aspect to me. It also helps that it looks really nice! The blue color is very pretty. Very happy with my purchase!

Unsafe-blocking airway
I bought this seat for my 5 month old hoping that it would be more comfortable for her than her infant car seat but after installing it and harnessing her in it properly (approved by Graco CPST as well) it was placing her in a dangerous chin to chest position and compromising her airway. I am a NICU nurse and immediately recognized this and removed her from the seat but an unsuspecting parent may not which is scary. When a seat is designed for small newborns and up I would not expect a safety…
