How do I get the seat to rotate?
Best Answer: To rotate the Ingenuity SimpleComfort seat, grasp the seat and turn it until it clicks/locks into one of its 3 positions—left-facing, center, or right-facing. The seat rotation is manual; don’t try to rotate it using the swing controls.

Outgrew too soon
The swing is fine, nothing spectacular. My baby outgrew it around 3.5 months - the straps up above shoulders don’t adjust. The wood bar on top squeaks when moved which would scare my baby so we always had to leave it down. I wish the toys would slide left to right or that the bar would come forward more so the baby could play with them.

Not compact
Simply put, there are much better options out there. This swing is not compact. It takes up a lot of space. The seat does not feel soft or comfortable for the baby and is not fit for a newborn. My baby is 11 pounds 23” and still does not fit comfortably in the seat. We have had to use the car seat insert to provide a better fit. The toys that dangle are not centered so your baby has to turn their head to either side to look at them. It was annoying to assemble & feels a little cheap.

None of the buttons work after 2 months
Only had for 2 months used (moderately) and the control panel has gone completely haywire

Great but Not Compact
Our baby loves this swing. Perfect for newborns who love to be rocked and swayed and you need 30 minutes to yourself!
However, whoever thinks this is “compact” doesnt understand what that word means. This is not a compact swing. It is actually very large and takes up significant space in our house.

Plastic motor gears
Motor has plastic gears which break easily. Purchased new motor off eBay. When it worked I did like the swing.

It won’t turn on after opening up
Got this two months ago for our baby shower and just put to together and it won’t turn on try everything to turn it on.
