Description
Mint Latch features lower anchor attachments that click right to your vehicle’s anchor points so installation is quick and super secure, no separate base needed. If you prefer a base installation, this bundle includes the compatible Base AR.
The Mint Latch connectors adjust to three different angles, ensuring a level car seat installation in the backseat.
The car seat can be installed using the vehicle belt and belt path. The carrier is also FAA-certified for aircraft use with the seat belt.
Comfort features include the removable infant inserts, full-coverage UPF 50+ canopy, soft cushioning, breathable knit fabrics and easy-click chest clip.
The ergonomic handle features a soft grip, adjustable positioning and leatherette accents for a stylish touch.
This car seat is tested to the newest safety standards (FMVSS 213a and 213b) with side impact protection.
Base AR
Base AR pairs with any Joie infant car seat, including the baseless mint latch.
The anti-rebound bar built into the base keeps the car seat firmly in place and limits the amount of movement the seat experiences during a crash.
Lower anchor attachments lock firmly onto your vehicle’s lower anchor points.
You don’t have to worry about locking your seat belt tight enough during installation with the LockTight belt-tensioner and lock-off. Use the LockTight with lower anchor attachments or your vehicle seat belt to make installation more effortless and secure.
Base AR has four recline positions to help you get the just-right fit in your vehicle. Pick a recline option that properly positions the base in your vehicle, and use the bubble-level indicator to make sure it your base is at the right angle for baby.

Easy to use with lots of safety features

We received these for our twins and they’ve been fantastic. Super easy to install, very lightweight, and most importantly, they feel incredibly safe and secure - we've had no issues. When you’re installing two seats, ease really matters and these made the process stress free. Highly recommend.

Love the flexibility!

This bundle is AWESOME. I really wanted the mint latch car seat but was nervous using it on my everyday. This bundle now gives me the chance to have the base in my truck but still the flexibility of putting the seat in my husbands car without having to move the base or buy a whole new one.

The mint latch system is such a great car seat. As a mom of twins, we frequently rely on family to help us. Having a car seat that can easily move from car to car it was so helpful to have family help us. The latch system was so easy to use. My kiddos both liked the seat. My twins are two different sizes and it was easy to adjust the straps. Overall the system is user friendly and very convenient!

Convenient, Lightweight Seat and Base Combo

I appreciate being able to use the mint latch seat with or without the base AR. The base makes the mint latch incredibly easy to use, and the connection feels secure once everything is in place. Both the base and the seat are lightweight and very portable, which is helpful if you ever need to move the base between vehicles (although that is not necessary with the mint latch seat – which is awesome!). I absolutely love using the car seat and base combo. The flexibility of being able to clip the car seat directly into the car was a huge benefit, especially when switching between different vehicles. The base paired perfectly with the car seat, it provided a secure and stable fit every time. The combo is very convenient and practical for everyday use.

I received this product to try through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I have enjoyed using this product, it is great to be able to use the carseat without the base and I prefer that over using the base. While the base feels sturdy, the car seat itself clicks right into my cars latch system. The seat feels very secure using the latch system and is easy to adjust as well. I received the mint latch about a month ago and I love it . We have been using it with our other stroller and it easier latches so smoothly and doesn’t bother my baby if she is sleeping. The car seat is slim and fits great in my Tesla with two other car seats. I would buy this seat again if I needed it or for a gift for a friend.
