Description
The Joie Rue LX Spin makes getting baby in and out of the car simpler. The 180° spin base rotates toward you so there's no awkward reaching — load baby facing you, buckle in, and rotate the seat back into position. The release can be accessed from the front or back of the base, whichever side you can reach.
Installation is secured with lower anchor attachments and a LockTight belt lock-off. TurnLock indicators on both sides of the base go from red to green so you know the seat is locked before you drive. The anti-rebound bar is built directly into the base and absorbs rotational forces in a crash. Tested to FMVSS 213a and 213b, the newest federal safety standards.
The removable infant insert keeps smaller newborns snug in the seat up to 11 lbs. An expandable UPF 50+ canopy with peek-a-boo window shields baby from sun while letting you check in without disturbing them. The 4-position base adjusts recline to suit your vehicle. Seat fabrics are machine washable. Connects to most Joie strollers to become a travel system — 180° spin base included in the box.

Easy to use!

The Rue LX Spin has been so convenient for getting our baby in and out of the car. Being able to rotate the seat toward the door makes buckling him in so much easier, especially compared to reaching over a traditional car seat. Installation was also really simple and it feels very secure once installed. The spin feature is definitely something we didn’t realize how much we’d appreciate until we started using it.

My wife and I had our first child, so finding car seats that meet our expectations for safety and comfort is, well, a process, as any every new parent reading this will understand. When we left the hospital, for the first few months of our LO's life, we borrowed a car seat, and we always had issues putting him in it and taking him out, so much so that we would hook him up to the seat while we were still in the apartment and just carry him out. I am honestly so impressed with this Joie Rue car seat. It looks and feels like a much more expensive, high-end car seat without the crazy price tag. The quality is amazing, the fabric feels soft and premium, and the whole seat feels very sturdy and well made. I especially love how lightweight it is because carrying a baby around with a heavy car seat gets exhausting really fast. Overall like this product. The car seat itself is very easy to use. It is compact and easy to carry. The shade pull is easy and has sufficient length. The base is a bit heavy, that is the one enhancement I would like to propose is if there was a way for it to be a bit lighter.

I am so happy with our Joie Rue LX Spin infant car seat! The spin feature is such a luxury and makes getting baby in and out of the car so much easier. I also know the spin feature will be so nice once our baby gets bigger and starts wiggling around more! The car seat feels incredibly high quality, durable, and well made. Definitely one of those features I think we’ll appreciate even more as she grows!

I absolutely love the Rue LX Spin car seat. It’s beautiful, but more importantly, it’s so easy to use. The spin feature is incredibly smooth and I can easily turn it with one hand, even while holding my baby or carrying bags. Being able to turn her to face me before taking her out makes getting in and out of the car so much easier. The fabric is really soft and has been easy to take off and wash. It’s one of those baby products that makes everyday life a little easier, and I’m so glad we chose it. We will definitely be using this car seat for years to come.
