Weak Velcro
After a year of light play the Velcro is very weak on most fruits, the pieces barely hold together so there’s no point in cutting anymore. It’s too hard to replace the Velcro because the pieces are glued on tight.

Kids really enjoy this set.
This is our second set of "cutting" play food. The grandkids still use the first one. We love the realistic look, as well as how the products last.

Weak velcro
I bought this one week ago for my daughter and I am very disappointed in the quality. I am shocked because Melissa and Doug toys are normally my favorite very high quality toys however this cutting fruit set is very disappointing. Multiple pieces barely hold together and it’s brand new. It seems like the design is bad and the Velcro needs to stick out more than it does to actually be affective.

It's always about quality with Melissa & Doug
I love Melissa and Doug products. Great quality and durable. I am a pediatric physical therapist and my kiddos are hard on all the toys. Melissa and Doug products stand up to the repeated use. Grown-ups like playing with the kids' toys as well (truth be told).

Beloved toy but Velcro doesn't Velcro
We were gifted this for Christmas and my son LOVES it! But the Velcro did not last long, only about 2 weeks. So now we have to hold it together to cut.

My 22 month old grandson is OBSESSED with cutting the foods!
I can't say enough about how wonderful the wooden food items are. My grandson cuts food all day long and loves them!!
