Can any of the parts be sterilized?
Best Answer: Yes, you can sterilize the washable parts of the Motif Medical Aura Glow Wearable Breast Pump. To do so, disassemble all components that come into contact with breast milk—such as the breast shields, silicone inserts, diaphragms, valves, and collection containers—excluding the motor. Place these parts in a pot, cover them with water, bring to a boil, and let them boil for 5 minutes. After boiling, remove the parts with clean tongs and place them on a clean paper towel or dish towel to air dry completely.

Tried and true!
This pump has become my “daily driver” for convenience and great output. The built in light is so handy for checking my output as I pump. Love the general pumping mode and that the pump remembers what settings you used previously. It is also extremely easy to clean and is so simple with just 4 pieces. The flange inserts slide in so easily against the soft silicone unlike hard plastic flanges.

5 months in, not as effective
I'm 5 months PP now with Twins - I don't use this pump for every pump but probably about 2x a day. Unfortunately, one of the motors/pumps just isn't as effective as the other. I thought it was the silicone parts wearing out, but after using 2-3 resupply kits I can say it really is just the motor. One always does about half the output of the other, and I'm so bummed. It really is a great little pump when it works, but I don't think I'd recommend it if you're going to be using it on a regular basis.

Comfortable and effective!
I was surprised and delighted by the ease of use and comfort while wearing. I was able to achieve the same level of output compared to my Spectre and it makes pumping easy on the go. The silicone inserts help ensure a perfect fit and the features are easy to use. It’s a little bulky and noisy but stays in place on the move. Grateful to have this in my arsenal as an exclusively breastfeeding mom!

Loved them at first :(
I am so sad, these worked amazing at the beginning but now the battery dies faster everyday and I am not getting as much breastmilk as I feel it does not have the same power of suction as when it was brand new. Unsure if mine were just defective but my daughter is 20 days old right now and these pumps that I was in love with are disappointing me and not helping my lactation journey:(. Unfortunately my insurance will not cover the cost for other pumps and I will have to buy a different one out of…

Amazing pump
I love these as a first time mom. I get great output and I love the light feature and use it constantly. I've had this for two months now and haven't had an issue. The charge last about 3-4 days when I am pumping about 3-4 times a day for 15-30 minutes at a time. Just don't bend over when it hits 4 oz or it'll spill all over you like most wearables. holds almost 7 oz full and as an oversupplier I have to pause it to dump milk. Very easy to clean and put back together.

Great for 1st time moms
First time mom and these pumps really helped me out. Perfect fit for running around plus the light durning night pumping helps a lot. My only issue is that one of my pump motor stopped working after 2 months in.

Love this pump but. .
I really love this breast pump. . Just wish it would have a full indication as im an oversupplier but with having a newborn and a 3 year old dont have time to keep checking to see if its full and it just keeps leaking all over my bra. . so I just wish there was a full indicator.
