The Naturepedic Organic Ultra Breathable Crib Mattress offers organic comfort with added safety features.
Elevated with a quilted finish, the Organic Ultra Breathable is handcrafted with organic cotton fabric and fill and without polyurethane foam, flame retardants, harmful chemicals or potential allergens, providing a healthier sleep environment for baby. The mattress is waterproof at the surface, featuring Naturepedic’s non-toxic waterproofing made from non-GMO sugarcane, and wrapped in a removable, washable, breathable cover. This practical design offers increased airflow that doesn’t come at the cost of cleanliness.
The dual-stage design offers a firm side for infants and a medium firm side for toddlers. Plus, this mattress features a lightweight core that allows for easy sheet changes without compromising on support for baby’s developing muscles and bones. Reinforced edges help to keep bouncing toddlers safe, too. An innerspring model is also available.

My crib is 47x53.75x29.5, would this mattress be an ideal for that size crib?

When it arrives with the protector on, which side is it covering? Is that the infant side up or toddler side up?
Best Answer: Since it's a two-stage model, there are tags at the bottom; one says infant and has an arrow that points to the infant side. The toddler tag faces the other direction, says toddler, and has an arrow that points to the toddler side.
What is the size of this mattress? Wondering if it will fit into a crib I am interested in, and I do not see anywhere in the specs where the size dimensions are listed?

Best Answer: This mattress has a built-in mattress protector, but you can also use a separate mattress pad if you prefer. It measures approximately 27 1/4" x 51 5/8" x 6", so any standard mattress sheet will fit.
Is the cover or mattress itself waterproof?
Best Answer: The cover for this mattress is not waterproof, but it is washable. There is a waterproof and wipeable layer beneath the cover, so that the core of the mattress is safe from all forms of moisture.

Super lightweight for a crib
Super lightweight for a crib mattress and I I’ve that it’s organic! Best feeling ever as a parent knowing this is a safe and ultra breathable mattress for my little one.

Healthy option for baby mattress
We use this mattress on a toddler bed frame. I feel good about the materials used to make the product. I like the option to buy quality healthier products for babies and toddlers.

Comfortable mattress
Baby seems to enjoy the mattress. It's so much more comfortable than the thin, particle board bassinet mattress that she hated (who wouldn't).

Love this mattress!
I highly recommend this mattress. It is firm yet extremely comfortable. I am excited to have a mattress that is well made and safe from harmful chemicals for my first grandchild to use when she is with us. Thanks to Naturepedic for providing that sense of peace.
