What should I look for in baby towels?

Choose baby towels made from soft, absorbent materials like cotton or cotton blends. Look for hypoallergenic, chemical-free options gentle on sensitive skin. Hooded towels are parent favorites for wrapping newborns securely while maintaining warmth during bath time.

How many baby towels and washcloths do I need?

Along with being genuinely adorable, snuggling your baby in a soft towel is the perfect way to cap off bath time. For most families, 3-4 hooded baby towels and 7-10 washcloths are sufficient. This allows for daily use, washing and spares. For the best value over time, look for towels that are large enough to last beyond the newborn stage (something bigger than 30”) and that stay nice and soft after lots of washes. Animal ears on the hood are optional (but highly recommended). How often should I wash baby towels and washcloths?

There's nothing like wrapping up a freshly bathed baby in a warm, cuddly towel. But to keep that experience delightful and hygienic, it's important to wash your baby's towels and washcloths regularly. As a general rule, you should wash these items after every 3-4 uses. Remember to use a mild, fragrance-free detergent suitable for baby items, and avoid fabric softeners which can reduce absorbency and potentially irritate your baby's delicate skin. Proper washing not only keeps these items clean but also helps maintain their softness and absorbency, ensuring your little one stays comfortable and cozy after every bath.
