Overview

Description

The Haakaa Ladybug Silicone Breast Milk Collector is a breast pad alternative that allows you to save every drop of leakage and letdown, instead of soaking it up.

The one-piece design attaches to your breast with suction and sits securely and discreetly in your bra. This suction is light and gentle to hold the product in place. It won’t draw out additional milk, so it’s ideal for moms who leak breast milk and want to save it without increasing their supply.

You can wear the Ladybug on the other side in your nursing bra while you’re breastfeeding to catch your letdown or wear one on each breast inside your bra. It has small feet on the bottom to stand upright on any flat surface, preventing spills after use.

Once you’ve finished collecting your letdown, open the plug on the top and safely pour out your milk into a container or bottle.

Inconsistent
These things are infuriating. They fall off half the time, baby can easy kick it off if you have it on the non feeding boob, and they aren’t very stable when sitting on the legs so it’s easy to knock it over and send milk flying everywhere. I’ve probably lost half of the milk I’ve collected using this. It gets 3 stars because it does work sometimes and I have collected let down with it. Just wish it were a reliable tool.

Great for leaky boobs
Extremely helpful for leaky boobs! I had a very leaky letdown so these were perfect for the opposite side while breastfeeding. There’s a teeny tiny amount of suction but that’s actually optional - it can just rest around your nipple in your bra - so it won’t extract any more milk than your letdown (other types of Haakaa have major suction which can take too much milk/ contribute to oversupply - the ladybugs won’t do that). Definitely use a nursing bra to keep in place! I was able to store my letdown to create a freezer stash thanks to the ladybugs.

works well
stays put much better if you're breast feeding on the other side - especially if you're also using a breastfeeding pillow
