does this alert me if baby stops breathing?
Best Answer: Yes. When you use the Nanit Pro Monitor with Nanit Breathing Wear (like the Breathing Band or Swaddle) and have an active Nanit Insights subscription, you’ll receive a real-time alert if breathing motion is not detected.
Do I need to have a subscription in order to use the camera?
Best Answer: You don’t need a subscription to use the Nanit Pro Smart Baby Monitor for live streaming, basic monitoring, and alerts. But a subscription is required to access features like sleep tracking, video history, and personalized insights.
Does the breathing band need to be used?
Best Answer: You don't need to use the breathing band. The monitor works fine without it, but you'll miss out on a few app features.
Is it dual voltage?
Best Answer: It does accept an input voltage of 100-240V.
Can the breathing bad be worn under a swaddle?
Best Answer: You'll want to wear the breathing band over a swaddle to take advantage of the features. The camera needs to see the band to work clearly.
Does it only come with one size breathing band?
Best Answer: That's correct. This comes with one Small breathing band that is suitable for babies between 0-3 months.
Is this compatible with 5g only?

If I wanted to bring this camera with me when I travel, should I purchase a separate Multi-Stand Accessory so I can put the camera on a dresser, etc? This set does not come with any other stand beside the Floor Stand, correct?
Best Answer: This set only includes the floor stand. For travel convenience, it's a good idea to purchase the Nanit Smart Baby Monitor Multi-Stand Accessory separately.
If used traveling, will it function at all without WiFi?
Best Answer: It won't. This monitor needs WiFi to work.
Can this be used with my SNOO bassinet? The band would have to go under the SNOO swaddle?
Best Answer: We do have some users who use both Nanit and SNOO, and they have not reported any issues with either alerts or Nanit Insights. SNOO creates both motion and sound so we are unable to guarantee that alerts and Insights will work the same as if Nanit were set up with a bassinet or a crib.
The Breathing Band should never be worn on top of a swaddle. It must always be worn underneath your baby's arms, around their torso, otherwise it could pose a suffocation or strangulation hazard.
How long does the free trial last?

We like having the Nanit.
We like having the Nanit. It has had solid connectivity, decent camera, and just sensitive enough notifications. We haven't truly used the breathing band, but tested it and it is definitely a functional application.

We love the nanit. I
We love the nanit. I use it every day and night, i even bring it with me on vacations as it provides such peace of mind! Its the only monitor i recommend & use!

Love our Nanit!
The additional of the Nanit Home Screen is what finally sold us on buying the Nanit system, and I'm so glad we did! We look forward to adding another camera in our nursery when our second baby arrives in September.

Love this monitor, the display
Love this monitor, the display is large and clear with various settings and I can watch both monitors on the one as a split screen or toggle over. Each has individual settings that are easy to customize and the additional audio notifications are helpful. I only wish the notification stayed on the screen longer it flashes and then sort of instantly disappears. Would definitely purchase again.

Worth the hype
We had an analog monitor and begrudgingly needed a WiFi version for our new, larger home. But we could not be happier and wish we had bought this sooner. Above the crib camera position is ideal. Love that this lists activity throughout the night and the option to measure breathing rate has been so helpful for our baby fighting off a cold.

Peace of mind
The breathing band provides the peace of mind I desperately needed with a rolling baby and my first work trip away on the books. I was able to check in on him from a few thousand miles away whenever I needed. When I’m home, I no longer feel the panic to turn him over when I find he’s sleeping on his belly. I also love the video memories the app puts together. 11/10 recommend!

Too hyped up, definitely wish
Too hyped up, definitely wish I got a diff camera. It sometimes it doesn’t capture movement, just noise. Also the camera snapped off the stand after 6 months of use-not even the tall stand, just the small one it comes with. I am also not appreciative of the fact that we have to pay more to use the features like saving videos and milestones in the crib.
Giving it 2 stars instead of 1 because it does have great video quality.

Excellent monitor
The quality of the camera is very impressive. We also appreciate the notifications when there is crying. Additionally, being able to listen to him is helpful. And being able to communicate to the other parent when in the room is such a cool feature. Highly recommend.
