Do you still need wifi to use the baby monitor? Example, I am away and don’t have access to wifi, will the monitor still work even though the app won’t? ?
Best Answer: Yes, the Nanit camera itself needs to remain connected to your home Wi-Fi network. If you’re away from home, your phone does not need Wi-Fi—you can view the Nanit app using cellular data, provided your Nanit at home has an active internet connection. If your phone has neither Wi-Fi nor cellular data, you won’t be able to view the monitor remotely.
Does this work with the floor stand?
if my baby is a stomach sleeper, will the band work on their back?

Got my Nanit for when
Got my Nanit for when I keep my grandkids. Set up was alittle tricky. I am on my daughter’s Nanit at her house and mine. I don’t leave my camera on all the time, connecting at times has been an issue.

Floor stand not recommended
Love the Nanit monitor! Got a second one for our second baby! Have had our first camera for 4 years now. Love it! Gave it 4 starts because we did the floor stand this time around and would NOT recommend. The stand does not vent heat well so camera always says temp that was 10 degrees hotter. We felt that due to this the longevity of the camera would be compromised if it is being exposed to excess heat over time. Thought we would share our experience.

Nannit is awesome
Love the ease of use and the features with the diaper change and feeding log. Clear picture quality. Great long term investment for a long term happy baby. We can track mile stones and memories. Love it

I’m Buying a Second Nanit—But Here’s What I Think
We’ve used Nanit to monitor our daughter Lizzie from infancy to the present. With our second daughter, Emma, arriving later this month, I’m planning to buy another camera. That says a lot about how much we value the experience—but it doesn’t mean I’m completely satisfied.

Not worth the price or headache
I truly regret buying this monitor. While there are a few positives, they don't justify the price. I'll break it down into the good, the not so good, and the bad.
The Good - All of the products that I purchased came in nice packaging and were relatively easy to setup. I appreciate the flex stand having a threaded tripod mount on the bottom (something that could have easily been overlooked). The setup is pretty straight forward (so long as you have internet).

Great camera wish it could show when you view
We love our camera but I wish it showed when someone had been watching live like ring cameras f do I think that would really swipe a lot of parents nerves around the cameras
