Description
Weighing less than 8 lbs, the onBoard FLX Infant Car Seat is easy to tote.
The four harness heights are spaced to give little ones a better fit from 4–30 lbs and up to 32”.
The buckle adjusts two ways so that you can customize the length and the position on baby.
Smaller babies get extra support with head and body inserts that can be removed as they grow. It’s also designed with a reclined body position for a more secure ride.
The harness adjusts easily from the front of the seat with a single pull, and the base height adjusts for the just-right fit in your car.
The car seat is compatible with all Safety 1st strollers that feature QuickClick, which allows you to attach the infant car seat to your stroller with one simple click.

Missing infant head insert
Bought this product and it came without a newborn head insert but came with the body insert. A little disappointed as I can’t seem to find a replacement anywhere online

Great car seat for an affordable price
I bought this car seat in 2022 and I loved it so much. I still use it for my 2 year old and she loves it as well.

This is ok Felt a little off

I honestly didn’t love this! Safety 1st is a great brand but this specific car seat just felt off to me. It was super hard to get the car set off the base. The fabric was also super rough and my 11 month old was not very fond of how scratchy it was! However the colors are gorgeous! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this infant car seat.

Easy Installation

I received this carseat from the Stellar Product Testing Panel and was super impressed with the instruction manual. I know that sounds silly, but I haven't seen an easier to understand manual ever and we've purchased a few carseats. It has lots of pictures to follow to help you make sure your child is safely secure and for how to get it into the car.

Spacious but uncomfortable

Disclaimer I received this car seat from stellar product testing panel for my honest review. Anywho, the car seat is very spacious, even for a 30LB. toddler who just wants to sit in does fit. The only downside is that is does not have much cushion, so it is not very comfortable after a while. The overall design is simple, it’s not a design that screams quality. It was easy to install and adjust. And my favorite thing about the car seat is that it is super light weight!

Large and bare bones

This car seat is a fairly basic model, and most of the latching mechanisms and buttons felt nonintuitive to me (e.g., odd placements on the strap release, sticky clasp for the shoulder buckle, etc.).
We used the latch system installation, and were unable to get a secure fit for our midsized sedan—it wobbled significantly no matter what settings we adjusted. The seat is large overall, which is nice for our ever-growing baby, but feels awkward to carry and doesn’t fit through the car door…

Infant Car Seat Review

First of all I would like to thank the Stellar product testing panel for the opportunity to test and try the Safety 1st onboard LT infant car seat! This car seat is very comfortable for my little one. I like how it has more space than other infant car seats. The design is great and I love how the cushions are breathable. The seat belt was easy to adjust and the car seat is spacious enough for my 4 month old baby to move around. The cushioning is made with soft polyester material that I liked. There are two separate cushions for the sitting area and another one that supports head rest.
