She Changed Postpartum Care—Now Frida’s CEO Is Curating Your Baby Registry

Chelsea Hirschhorn isn’t just the founder and CEO of Frida—she’s the four-time mom who turned the messy, often-ignored parts of postpartum into must-have products everyone talks about (and registers for). She describes her “registry vibe” as equal parts practical, stylish and unapologetically mom-focused.
“Function first, always,” she advises. “If it works and looks good, bonus. Think: Frida’s humidifier. Chic and essential.”
So what actually makes a registry stylish? According to Hirschhorn, “Focus on fewer, better things. Products that feel like part of your home, not something you’re hiding in a closet.”
It’s a philosophy that she’s brought to life at Frida by elevating drab postpartum gear to essentials parents want to add to their registries. And she’s not alone: interest in design-led, mom-first products is gaining popularity on registries as families are embracing the idea that supporting mom is just as important as stocking up for a baby.
"Splurge on the disposable underwear and recovery essentials that will make you feel like you again," she recommends. "Not the newborn onesies they'll grow out of in 10 days.”
