Description
The Dr. Brown’s Manual Breast Pump with SoftShape Silicone Shield is a quiet-yet-powerful option for late-night pumping, engorgement relief and even full milk expression.
The Pump features two pumping modes that better mimic baby’s natural feeding. Start with shorter, quicker pumps to stimulate letdown, and then switch to longer pumps that imitate baby’s more relaxed feeding. Note: it’s a single pump, so you need to do one side at a time.
The one-piece, SoftShape Shields (25mm) are made of soft 100% silicone that feels soft and gentle, and conforms to any breast shape. Different size flanges are also available (sold separately).
This set also comes with a popular bottle: Dr. Brown’s Options+ Anti-Colic Wide-Neck Bottle with a Level 1 Slow Flow nipple, plus a cap and cleaning brush.

Can you use a wide neck glass bottle with this pump?
Best Answer: Wide-neck glass bottles will fit the Dr. Brown's Manual Breast Pump, but we don't recommend using them since they make the Collection Kits heavy.
can this manual Dr. Brown pump connect to the narrow bottles?
Best Answer: The narrow Dr. Brown's bottles don't work with this pump.

Can you pump directly into the storage bag?
Best Answer: You can pump directly into storage bags if you purchase a separate adapter and compatible storage bags (like the Kiinde storage bags with the Kiinde/Spectra adapter).

No duckbill in package
Was not able to use because the duckbill was missing and the flange is ridiculously large. Will buy inserts and duckbill and try again. It was disappointing to not be able to use this straight out of the package

Easy to use
Product is great with price but after using two days start making some wired noise hard to use around baby and other house memeber beacuse making too much noise . I wonder if someone help me how to fix that

Pretty easy to use
If manual pumping was for me, I’d use this product more. Unfortunately I can’t bear it! Way more painful than using my Spectra.

Works great!
I was given the opportunity to try this and to be 100 percent honest, it worked so easy and like a charm! The pieces are so soft for pumping and it is so easy!

Fantastic Manual Pump
This manual pump has been far better than the one I received in the hospital! It is easy and comfortable to use. The soft, silicone shield is much preferred to the hard plastic ones. I have used it to relieve fullness when I don’t want to set up (and then clean) all the parts for my electric pump. It’s very effective. My baby will only take Dr. Brown’s bottles, so the fact that I can directly pump into their bottle and then feed is an added bonus, but would be easy to transition into any bottle or bag for storage. Love it and will certainly be recommending to friends!

Easy to use & comfortable
I am very pleased with my Dr. Brown’s manual breast pump. Of course, manual pumping is more tedious than using a double electric, but this manual pump is more easy to use and effective than a different manual pump I’ve tried. It is very easy to switch between letdown & expression mode, there is a simple tab that hooks onto a knob and is really simple to pull and place from one mode to the next. Easy to use
I received this pump and have been using for well over a month now. It is easy to put together, as well as take apart to clean, with minimal parts. The pump has a gentle and snug fit. The handle is comfortable for holding as well. Great for travel or short manual pumping sessions.

Great option
I like having an option to my electric pump and haaka. Good to use after nursing on one side to be able to pump the other.

Easy to use!
This pump was very easy to use!! It was also just as effective as my electric pump! I like that I have this option to carry with me when I am on the go. I love the addition of the silicone shield because it was more comfortable. That would be great for a newly breastfeeding/pumping mama!!

Easy to use but has a lot of parts
Let me start by saying that I’ve never used a manual breast pump (other than the Haakaa) so I have no other to compare this to. I found this breast pump to be easy to use. It was comfortable and works well for a manual pump. I enjoy being able to pump directly into a bottle that can be used to feed later. However, it has so many parts to take apart, clean, and put back together. I much prefer my electric pump with less parts to wash and put back together. I will likely use it when I need to travel since it’s more compact and easy to use on the go than an electric pump.
