We love having a bedside bassinet and intend to use it until the very last day we can. When my baby cries, I can reach her without having to get up, and I can comfort her from the comfort of my own bed. Exhaustion and sleep deprivation are real, and having one less physical thing to do is golden. This bassinet has been very convenient for us.
Our biggest complaint is the noise. The bassinet is loud when you're trying to put your baby down, and even small movements make a cracking sound that's enough to wake them. Hence the dropped star from our rating.

Bedside Bassinet Saved Me Sleeps

Not level
Very nice looking design, and I appreciate the breathable mattress and non-toxic materials, but the frame is totally uneven and not sturdy. My baby rolls to the side every night and her face is up against the mesh siding multiple times a night. We used a level, and it is indeed not level. Will be returning. This product needs a redesign.

Creaky Bassinet
The only thing I like about this bassinet is how roomy it is. Otherwise, I hate it. It constantly creaks and it is super noisy. Not worth the money.

Uneven - anxiety inducing.
Take the reviews of the uneven mattress seriously. I thought maybe it was a user error or issue with their assembly but we have run into the same issue. The mattress does not lay flat. My 2+ month old has slept through the night since she was 3 weeks old, I however, do not. I’m up multiple times repositioning her because her face is constantly pushed up against the mesh on the same side every time. It’s the same with her naps, I’m glued to the monitor so when she falls to the side I come and…

Love it

Not worth the expense
The bassinet is cheaply made and the mattress moves around easily. The mattress doesn’t lay flat and if the baby moves to the edge I become worried that the mattress will mislevel.

A little disappinted. The wood seens very cheap anx flinsy wheb putting it together. The instructions were also horrible and the instructional video was even worse and didnt include several steps or anything regarding setting it up as a bedside sleeper. Also disapointed that it doesnt go high enough for my bed, which is not even that high so there is abour a foot drop from my mattress to the bassinet. The bassinet itself is great though. It is much larger that others and as always the newton mattress is great.

Peace of mind, but loud
I like everything about the bassinet but you can hear cricks every time the baby is put down and often times when the baby moves. Baby weighs less than 13 pounds
