Dangerously Inaccurate
Gives different readings every time and takes forever to read, which is especially uncomfortable rectally. Throwing away

Don’t buy!!
Very inaccurate. Took my baby’s temp and it said it was 100.7, then 98.6, then 101, then 98.2. Used a second rectal thermometer and the temps were all 98-98.6. We still went to the ER to make sure she was okay and her temperature was normal for the 36 hours we had to stay at the hospital. Absolute garbage.

Dangerously inaccurate
Do not buy. Read 101.8 while our other digital thermometer read 98.6 (both temps taken rectally). Ended up costing us a nighttime trip to the ER because we didn’t know which to trust. This one was way off thank goodness baby was fine but it’s going in the trash.

Inconsistent and inconvenient
the thermometer takes a long time to get a reading, causing my baby discomfort, and the readings have always been 94 degrees F which is inconsistent with the doctor’s readings

Readings are all over the place and it takes so long. Sometimes I can’t tell if it’s even working or not because I can’t tell if it’s even on and then will give me a reading of 94 and then the next one will be 99.

Takes Too Long
My main issue with this thermometer is that it takes a very long time to register a temperature. I tried four times and it generally took 10-15 seconds, which makes it hard to keep the tip centered on a wriggly baby's armpit and is far past the 5 seconds written on the box description. The temperatures were also inconsistent, but I think that is because I was having trouble keeping the thermometer tip in place--which shouldn't have been a problem if this actually measured in 5 seconds!
