Inaccurate temperature readings
This product does not give an accurate temperature reading. Said for both me and my baby that our temperature was 98.4. When taking my temperature (in ear) and his (rectal) they were both 101.

Defected item
I’ve got this product and it honestly doesn’t work it only say “lo” or 98.0 when knowing my baby is running warm . I’ve changed the batteries and it still says the same thing . I wouldn’t recommend it

Love it!
I love this thermometer! It’s so easy to use on anything and even in the middle of the night in the dark. I love the color system it uses too so you know even before you see the number if it’s a fever or not.

Do not buy
Would give ZERO stars if I could, the most inaccurate readings ever. As a first time mom and a sick infant these a huge difference between 98.7, 100.7, 100.3, I mean completely unacceptable. Get the Braun!

Terrible Product
Garbage. Will not be accurate after a couple months even with new batteries or cleaning the sensor. Get a copy of the cheap one your mom had. What a waste of $40

Infrared thermometer- Customer Service
We had an issue with our thermometer giving consistently inaccurate readings. Although the discovery of the issue came during an illness of a child, the resolution was swift. Dealing with customer service was simple and the product guarantee was why we will continue to buy fridababy products.

Inaccurate readings - do not recommend
My husband was sick and felt feverish and kept getting the same temp reading of 98.4. We thought he didn’t have a fever. I got sick a few days later and also felt feverish and the thermometer said the temp was 98.4. Took my temperature with a traditional thermometer and it was 100.0. I was shocked that the reading was off by over a degree. I took my 2 month old daughter’s temp with a rectal thermometer and it was the same thing - off by a full degree. Inconsistent. Don’t buy
This is actually the worst thermometer. My baby got a fever after her 2 month vaccines. We had to run to Walmart to buy another. $40 is crazy for something so inconsistent!
