Do not buy this
I added this to my registry thinking Frida is a pretty trustworthy brand. My 8 week old was extra sleepy and not wanting to eat as much so figured I'd take her temp. Three times, twice rectally for best accuracy and once in the armpit all read 94-95. Called my pediatrician obviously and they made me hang up and call paramedics. They took her temp and blood sugar and all was normal. Read the other reviews and beware- I'm one of several parents who had to seek emergency intervention due to this faulty thermometer.

Significantly inaccurate.
Consistently 3-4 degrees low. Compared with another thermometer that I know is accurate. My baby had a 100 degree fever and it read as 97.4.

Dangerously inconsistent and inaccurate readings
Dangerously inconsistent and inaccurate readings. The ear would read 97.8 and then on one part of forehead it read 98.9, another 101.4. For use on child or infant, you can see how gravely problematic this could be. I should have read more reviews before purchase, as this appears to be a known problem with these thermometers.

Don’t buy!!!!!!
This is so inaccurate. We made unnecessary doctor visits cuz of how off this thermometer was. Reading like 2 degrees higher than other thermometers. Read target reviews, this sucks

Do not buy. Low temp readings!
Don’t buy. Temp reading is so low. Made me panic as a newborn mom when I saw consistent 95.5 readings. Took it to the pediatrician appointment to compare to the doctor’s, and the doctor’s thermometer read normal, 98. Threw it away.

Temperature reads too low
Reading temperature of my newborn as 93.7 when he was pretty warm. Completely sent me into a panic. Tried a different thermometer and it read 97.1. Had the same experience with another Frida Baby thermometer.

Kept saying my week old was running 95.7, at the er they said he’s running normal. The nurse helped us see if it was accurate and it was still reading super low on our thermometer. He’s premature and having feeding difficulties, wish I had read the reviews before adding this thermometer to my registry.
