Firm yet comfortable, the Newton waterproof crib mattress is the only breathable, washable, waterproof crib mattress out there. It uses the same Wovenaire core signature to Newton mattresses, with the addition of a waterproof layer on one side for the toddler stage.

The box arrived with some dents, but the mattress is quite stiff and hard. Otherwise, it looks nice and well-stitched on the cover.

Purchasing Newton crib mattress
This is the second one I purchased and the babies slept very well using the first one over a few years and we recently purchased a second one

Possibly mold
My son’s cover had red spots between the blue and white lining of the cover after coming out of the wash. I looked it up and said it was mold. I don’t know if it was there before the wash but now I have to replace the cover or get a whole new mattres.
