The Best New Baby Products of 2026 (So Far)
As Babylist’s gear editor, I test hundreds of baby products. These are the launches I’m paying attention to so far this year.

Every year brings a fresh wave of baby gear, and as Babylist’s gear editor, I get to test a lot of it. I also get a sneak peek at what's on the horizon through product previews, industry events and baby trade shows. (Yes, it's as fun as it sounds, and yes, my delivery person groans every time they have to carry yet another car seat up the stairs of my porch.)
What’s more fun than doing all of this testing, though, is sharing my top picks with new and expecting parents. Baby gear moves fast, and it can be tough to tell the difference between what's genuinely innovative and what's just…new.
But lucky for me (and for you!), 2026 is shaping up to be a pretty great year in baby gear innovation. I’m highlighting the products that have impressed me the most so far: standout launches that offer smart design, thoughtful details and solutions to real parenting problems. (Hint: tech-forward wearable pumps. An updated Mockingbird. A NEW UPPAbaby stroller!) Plus, I’m sharing a few upcoming releases I'm most excited about before they officially hit the market.
🚗 Car Seats + Strollers
Mockingbird Single-to-Double Stroller 3.0 - Black Windowpane
From $549.00One of the biggest stroller launches of the year, the newly updated Mockingbird (a longtime Babylist editor fave) is worth a serious look. My two favorite upgrades are the LegShade, a panel that extends from the seat’s footrest area to protect your baby’s legs from the sun (so smart!), and a height-adjustable canopy so you can use the stroller longer as your baby grows. Also, magnetic buckles!
UPPAbaby Cruz V3 Stroller - Ada
From $899.99Although the V3 version of the Cruz technically launched last year, it’s still having a major moment in the stroller market in 2026. UPPA’s updates are smart and thoughtful, designed with both parents and babies in mind. My favorites include the new lay-flat seat that converts to a bassinet, the easy-to-adjust harness with magnetic buckles and the upgraded suspension system. And the new fabric colorways are 😍.
I was late to the party in discovering the greatness that is the Bombi travel stroller. (The travel stroller market is growing at lightning speed, and it can be hard to keep up at times.) But now I can’t get enough. This V3 update is so good! It now features a built-in newborn cocoon and flatter recline so you can use it from birth, no add-ons needed. There's also a higher weight limit (55 pounds), better airflow, a taller seat back and a no-rethread harness. And at $225, this stroller performs like lightweight competitors double the price.
Silver Cross Breez Mid-Size Compact Stroller - Champagne
From $849.99Mid-size strollers—strollers that sit in that sweet spot between full-size and lightweight but are still packed with features—are having a moment. The Breez is beautiful, newborn-ready from day one and folds with the bassinet or the seat still attached.
Nuna’s original Revv convertible car seat was one of the earliest rotating seats on the market, and while it was great in some ways, it missed the mark in a few others. The updated Maxx model fixes many of the original seat’s biggest limitations. Nuna upped the rear-facing limit from 30 to 40 pounds and the forward-facing limit from 40 to 65 pounds, giving the seat much more longevity. I also love the easy rotation and the premium comfort features.
Nuna RAVA Next - Cedar
From $580.00And speaking of Nuna, the popular Rava also got an upgrade in 2026, its first major redesign since the seat launched. My favorite upgrades include updated side impact protection, larger cup holders and magnetic buckle holders.
Chicco Fit3x ClearTex Ultra-Slim All-in-One Car Seat - Black
From $229.99As a Child Passenger Safety Technician (a CPST, someone specially trained in car seat education and use), I get asked a lot about car seats specifically for smaller back seats, especially for families who need to go three-across. That’s why I’m thrilled about the new Fit3x. It’s the slimmest convertible car seat currently on the market and is flame-retardant-free and converts to a booster and is a great value. A serious win all around.
AXKID ONE 3 Extended Rear Facing Car Seat - Coastal Storm Black
From $899.002026 is a big year for a car seat geek like me. Axkid, an innovative Swedish car seat brand, officially hit the US market this year. The One is designed for extended rear-facing (the safest way for your baby or child to ride) and works up to 49 inches or 65 pounds—the highest rear-facing limit currently on the market. And installation takes about 30 seconds.
👶🏽 Gear
Joie Sesame LX Playard - Dove
From $179.99This new playard from Joie is sleek and stylish. I love that it comes with everything you need, including a detachable changer and a full-size zip-on bassinet, so you can use it from day one through toddlerhood. And the one-handed fold is quick and easy.
The stroller wagon market keeps on growing, and the Waggle is a strong addition (with the best name). “Having tried out a ton of wagons, I can say I haven't seen anything quite like the Waggle,” said Briana, an associate editor at Babylist. “It folds up as small as a stroller, fits in the back of my husband's Chevy Bolt, and the open sides make it super easy for my kids to get in and out on their own.”
I love the modern silhouette and wood accents on this new rocker from Newton. And like all things Newton Baby, the seat is breathable and fully machine-washable.
Latifah, Babylist’s commerce editor, gave this new potty a try with her potty-training resistant toddler and had rave reviews. “Like everything from Lalo, it’s pretty,” she said. “Potty training isn’t contained to the bathroom, so when I move this all around my house, I don’t mind.” But more than that, she loved the functionality, especially that the top of the seat locks in place and that the bowl is contoured to prevent a mess.
Snuggle Me Organic Infant Lounger Curve - Slate
From $119.99Recently redesigned to meet new safety standards for infant loungers, the updated SnuggleMe is streamlined to now feature a padded center and lower, curved sides. It’s perfect for awake time, tummy time and play, and I love all the new colorways.
🍼 Feeding
The bottle washer craze continues. Eufy is the newest addition to the lineup, and the biggest—the S1 holds up to 10 bottles. You can control everything remotely with an app or via the touchpad, and the five jets and 59 nozzles get bottles and other feeding gear spotless.
I got to check out the Boppy Complete at a recent baby gear trade show and loved the design and versatility. The shape hugs your body to keep baby close, and the positioning bolster prevents baby from rolling. If you prefer the original, bolster-free design, you can still use this pillow but swap out the cover.
Pigeon bottles are a favorite of Babylist’s associate editor and Certified Lactation Counselor, Briana. These new hybrid bottles pair a pure glass interior with a soft silicone exterior, offering the benefits of glass without feeling quite so fragile. Keep an eye out for lots of new colors, coming soon.
Momcozy W1 Wearable Breast Pump
From $329.99There’s been lots of innovation in the pumping space in 2026, especially in wearables. The new W1 features the most up-to-date technology: warmth + massage. I also appreciate the transparent design so you can get the correct nipple alignment.
Eufy’s S2 wearable also caught my eye this year. It also incorporates heat, along with vibration, DIY pumping modes, adjustable massage settings and a silicone flange. And I love the wireless charging case that keeps the pump charged for up to seven days.
Lalo Stainless Mealtime Essentials - 5pc Set - Sage
From $57.99I’m a big fan of anything that makes toddler mealtime easier, and while I prefer plastic-free options, I find that silicone feeding gear tastes soapy over time. This set has a silicone outer layer for softness but a stainless steel interior. And it’s dishwasher safe.
🏡 Nursery
Nanit Home 8" Display
From $179.00I’ve loved Nanit since it launched, and the release of this home display unit only made my fandom grow. It pairs with your monitor to offer a standalone parent unit, no phone required. I love it for date night babysitters or when the grandparents can’t figure out the app.
Jool Baby SmartWave Plus Touch-Free Diaper Pail
From $99.99A diaper pail you don’t have to touch? Sign me up. Just swipe your hand across the top of this pail, and the sensor opens the trapdoor. And, you can use regular kitchen trash bags 🙌.
This crib is SO gorgeous. If it had existed when I designed my son's nursery, I would have bought it immediately. That’s all. That's the whole review.
Halo BassiNest Swivel Sleeper 4.0 Signature Bassinet - Oat
From $279.99Halo heard parents’ biggest complaint about their bassinet: tripping over the legs. Now with a much lower-profile base and redesigned legs, the BassiNest 4.0 is worth a look if you’re in the market for a newborn sleep space.
‼️ Coming Soon
One of my favorite parts of the year is attending the ABC Kids Expo, the biggest baby gear trade show in North America. It's where brands debut products months before they hit store shelves. Here are the launches Babylist editors can’t stop talking about.
THERE’S A NEW DOONA COMING! The Doona X, releasing in early July, marks the first major upgrade to this car seat + stroller hybrid since its initial launch. I am so excited; the brand addressed every pain point I have with this popular seat. My favorite level-ups include a sturdier, more padded handlebar with a taller height setting, front wheel suspension, three seat positions (sit, relax, recline), a no-rethread harness and a storage basket that transforms into a backpack.
A similarly exciting new drop worth shouting about: UPPABABY IS RELEASING A MID-SIZE STROLLER! The Kona hits the sweet spot between the Cruz and the Minu. It features a one-hand fold, massive storage basket, a modular seat that fully reclines (it’s newborn-ready right out of the box) and a really smooth push. And it weighs right around 20 pounds.
I’m a huge fan of Cybex’s flagship rotating car seat, the Callisto G 360. The upgraded Callisto T model, launching in July, has two standout upgrades: a 50-pound rear-facing limit (up from the current seat’s 40-pound limit) and flex-forward harness straps + buckles, so you never have to dig for car seat straps again.
Momcozy’s DeepClean Baby Bottle Washer is getting a size bump. Releasing soon, this new bottle washer holds up to eight bottles—double the capacity of the brand’s current washers.
Coming this fall, BabyBjörn has a new version of its beloved bouncer on the way, designed specifically with newborns in mind. It will feature a shallower seat, softer fabric and easier buckles. The brand is also launching a new baby carrier, the Hold, that works from birth to 30 pounds.
